Albert Snider went missing just over 76 years ago in March 1948.
Snider had been the jockey for the horse Citation, riding him in all races leading up to the Kentucky Derby.
He was scheduled to ride Citation in the Kentucky Derby, but when he went missing, jockey Eddie Arcaro was chosen to ride.
Citation came in first in the Derby, and then went on to take the Triple Crown by winning the Preakness in Baltimore and the Belmont in New York- all with Eddie Arcaro up.
