“It took something like this to occur for the police to even take her seriously and I can’t say what happened today, but I can tell you that we’re very disappointed in the outcome today,” said Glaros.
“This is going to prevent other people from coming forward when there’s domestic violence,” said Glaros. “When they see this story and they hear everything in the long run and they know this could happen, despite every effort to protect yourself, that sometimes it doesn’t always work.”
The next hearing is April 4th.

This doesn't surprise me one bit. I had to flee the country with my kids to keep them safe, because the courts kept letting us down. I'd rather deal with satan himself than domestic courts. MOO IMO JMO

(ETA just to make sure I say I did nothing illegal with that - I have sole custody of the kids and left with the court's knowledge and permission, but if I had stayed, that same court would have ripped my family apart because they just don't care about the truth. We did not want to leave but it was the only way to keep them safe).

Summers, 39, was scheduled to appear Monday morning for a bond hearing, but his public defender said he would not challenge a prosecutor's request that he be held in jail.
His wife, Alisa Summers, attended the brief court hearing, flanked by a victim's advocate from the Hillsborough State Attorney's Office.

TAMPA (FOX 13) - The trial for a man accused of kidnapping and an attempted murder-suicide plot is just weeks away, but defendant decided Thursday to fire is legal representation.

After defendant Trevor Summers fired his attorney, Hillsborough County Judge Mark Kiser wanted to know why.

"I just don't believe that Mr. Hayes has the time to allocate for the needs of my case," said Summers.
