She likely got hit by a car. The driver could have picked her up to take her to the hospital. Maybe she died though. Maybe they were drinking. Maybe they hid the body.
It’s not a rural area in downtown Fort Myers. MOO there would be some evidence after days that there was as an accident that caused severe injury. JMO of course.

I’m leaning towards she left the house suddenly, as she was not in proper running shoes. I’m hoping she is hiding out somewhere because I fear she may have been going through a rough time emotionally. IMO

This whole area is INCREDIBLY high traffic. People get hit by vehicles in Lee County on a regular basis, there is no way it would/could go unnoticed.

LEE COUNTY, Fla. —
The days Arielle Valdes has been missing have been days of torture for her family.

The Valdes family is handing out flyers at Terry Park, along Palm Beach Boulevard, based on tips they received from locals nearby that Valdes may have been seen there. This information is not confirmed with the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

LCSO is investigating downtown Fort Myers and several other areas with its Electronic Surveillance Unit and drones.

The Valdes family is hoping these efforts will bring Valdes back home, especially her mom, Priscila Coutinho.

"We can't eat, sleep for the past 48 hours," Coutinho said. "My daughter is my heart. I have two other kids. They also are my heart. But guess what? No one's going to take her place. I want her to bring her back home, please. I just want to bring her back home."

Another photo of Arielle, so many aren't very large. We want people to be able to clearly see her face and body stature.
Thank you for sharing this... To me it confirms that Arielle has and utilizes traditional running gear on her runs. I don't think the LE video was of a planned training run. MOO she could have left in what she was wearing at the house due to any number of reasons, but possibly she was upset. MOO

Praying you are ok Arielle.

So I asked poor Mr. ErinC, the former track star and running expert, what he thought. His two cents were that he wouldn't go out training in Converse for any reason, they don't have nearly enough cushioning and the low tops are also a recipe for rolling an ankle. However, he said it was conceivable that, if one were to get upset for some reason, one might take off running in the shoes one already had on, since running is probably a good way to calm down for our young lady here and she might have felt she needed to get away ASAP. So IMO MOO OMO etc abc xyz, it sounds like there may have been some precipitating incident that led her to go out running on the spur of the moment, and whatever happened may or may not be completely unrelated to the first incident.

There is some good overhead footage from LCSO of the area here…

I agree she was likely upset when she left. Her family is so concerned and putting their all into finding her.

It is unlikely a car hit her and the driver took the time to stop and drag her into their vehicle without anyone seeing a thing. Usually if they don't want to call 911, they just keep driving, unfortunately, but just my opinion.

LE needs to figure out where she was last seen on CCTV. And appeal to the public to check their dashcams, Ring doorbells, etc. for specific time-frames in specific areas, IMO.

I hope she went to a friend's house and just hasn't been ready to go home but will be located safe this weekend.

I am concerned about self-harm in this case.
I am too. I am also concerned how the last footage LE has shared of her being seen is going up the bridge and not back down the other side.

I believe the height of the Edison Bridge is 55 feet which is not terribly high, it is still really dangerous and could be a fatal fall.

All MOO. I hate to think the worst. Hopefully tomorrow we wake up to some positive news.

Is it actually the case that no ones knows whether she made it off the bridge, or is that speculation? Has anything been said by LE or family to indicate they think or know she made it off the bridge?
