It seems pretty obvious that Robert had everything to do with her disappearance/death.... there's probably not much more that can be investigated since she committed suicide...
the guy seemed like an abuser with anger management issues... he probably killed her, dumped her body somewhere in the middle of nowhere and then left his car at the airport to make it look like she ran away...
the guilt haunted him until he had to resort to suicide..

Bockwith’s 20-year-old sister Barbara went missing on Dec. 5, 1979. While the case remains unsolved, it is believed that Barbara was killed by her ex-boyfriend Robert Deaver who took his own life days later.
