Seven years later, detectives arrest 3 suspects in Alachua County cold case

The Alachua County Sheriff's Office has located 3 suspects in the 2017 death of Christin Cassels, who was killed in Hawthorne when she was shot by multiple gunmen.

''Cassels was killed in the small town of Hawthorne in Alachua County. She and her boyfriend had returned from a day at the beach. They were outside the home where they were staying, off US-301, when a group of people approached.
When Cassels tried to head back inside, the gunfire began.''

''Parker did not believe Cassels was the target, saying that the suspects' plans went awry. He said they were after money and "potentially narcotics."
"They shot my baby like she was some damn dog on the street," Cassels' mother, Brenda Cassels, told First Coast News.''

They should arrest the people they know withheld information. Even if they don’t get jail time for their cruelty, the public should know who they are. Let the court of public opinion crucify them. Let their reputation be ruined & lose the trust others have in them.
