It has been 30 years since this young girl was found. She remains unidentified.

Ok this one is probably a long shot but she reminded me of this Jane Doe and her name is Donna. Stats are not far off and I think she looks similar. The only thing is Jane Doe is listed as brown eyes on Doenetwork and Namus and this wanted girl is listed as having blue eyes BUT I just looked at the fingerprint card for Jane Doe and if I am seeing things right it says BLUE.

ETA: just re-read the thread and see where someone else noticed the blue eyes.. Has anyone ever contacted anyone to see what the correct color of her eyes were?

if the UID did have blue eyes, then she could be Michele Reidenbach, my Michael Jackson lookalike.

the only thing is that Michele's profile said she was a chain smoker (odd for a teenager) and there was no reference at all to the deceased's having been a smoker or having cigarettes or matches/lighter on her. not a deal breaker but just something I thought I'd mention.

Emma Lorene Vaughn: Following is from Charley.
Missing Since: July 10, 1982 from Orlando, Florida
Classification: Endangered Missing
Date Of Birth: November 10, 1967
Age: 14 years old
Height and Weight: 5'3, 114 pounds
Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Brown hair, blue eyes. Emma's upper left front tooth was chipped at the time of her disappearance. She has had extensive dental work. She has a scar on her chin, a scar on her eyebrow and a strawberry birthmark on the front of her right calf. Emma tended to bite her fingernails and toenails in 1982. She may use the first name Christine.
Emma was last seen walking down Robinson Street in Orlando, Florida on July 10, 1982. She lived in Orlando with her mother, stepfather and siblings. She may have been sighted in the area shortly afterwards, but that report was not confirmed. Emma has never been heard from again. She had a history as a runaway prior to her disappearance, but had always kept in touch with her family.
Emma frequented the South Orange Blossom Trail and South Street areas of Orlando in 1982. She had an infant son and was not attending school. She may have been working as an exotic dancer and was possibly involved with prostitution. Some reports state Emma may be in the company of her 18-year-old half-sister, Rhonda Cannon. Cannon eventually returned home, however, and stated she and Emma had become separated.

Emma was last seen in the company of labor pool workers and may have traveled to Tennessee after her disappearance; rumors placed her in that state in the company of a gas station attendant. Emma's family moved to Marianna, Florida a few months after her disappearance, and now they reside in Missouri. Her case remains unsolved.

This really caught my eye since the height and weight are so similar and she even has the tendency to bite her nails. But Emma apparently gave birth prior to going missing and I'm pretty sure that would be able to be seen in an autopsy. Also, I find it hard to believe a 14-year-old would be able to travel to so many different states in a short period of time unless she had lots of money. The fact that she was in Fort Lauderdale at the time suggests she may have tried to come back home after running away, but was killed before she could make it.

(Personal life tangent below)

This case is special to me because this UID was found around where I was born and where most of my family lives. I live in FL and I tend to watch Florida missing persons cases and unidentified people cases more closely. I also am interested in the Rising Fawn Jane Doe case (Dec. 1988) because my aunt lived there for a while.

Oh, and have some pics too :v

Sheri Lynn Johnson, missing from Missouri since Nov. 1974, following is from The Charley Project:

Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance:

Missing Since: November 1974 from Independence, Missouri
Classification: Non-Family Abduction
Date of Birth: September 21, 1970
Age: 4 years old
Height and Weight: 3'6, 40 pounds
Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Light brown hair, brown eyes. Sheri's height and weight are approximations.

Details of Disappearance:

Sheri disappeared with her mother, Freda Denman, and her brother, Michael Johnson. Denman's husband Henry Lee Harbison, also known as Henry Johnson, disappeared at the same time as his family. They were not reported missing until March 1975, five months after their disappearance. It was the family's landlord that told the police they had disappeared.
Police found Denman's clothes still in the closet of their residence. Harbison's clothes and clothes of the children were missing, however. Blood was also found on a cushion in the home, but laboratory tests on the stain were inconclusive.

It is suspected that Harbison may have murdered his family. Photographs of Harbison are shown below this case summary. He has an extensive criminal background and uses several aliases. His affiliates at the Church of the New Song claim the entire family was murdered. Denman's family believes Denman was murdered and the children were given away.

Both the Independence police department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) were involved in the Denman/Johnson disappearances. The Independence police closed the file on the disappearances, thinking the FBI would follow up on it. It didn't. The case remained closed until 2004, when it was reopened. Investigators are testing the DNA of a prison inmate in Arkansas as a possible match for Michael.

Due to the unclear circumstances in their disappearances, the Johnson children's cases are classified as non-family abductions. Michael, Sheri, and their mother's cases are still unsolved.

I included this case mostly because of the area where Sheri was evidently abducted from. She would have been eleven at the time of her death, which checks out with NamUS (don't quote me on that, but one website says Donna Doe could be as young as eleven years old). The theory that she was given away or abducted by someone to raise a family makes sense to me because she could have found out her situation and run away, only to get killed in the vehicle accident later.

Comparison (not very useful due to the age discrepancy)

for the last two Fuuro, the hair on the missing girls looks too light to be that of this UID. I realize hair tends to darken over the course of the aging process (before going gray) but the hair on the deceased looked dark brown to black to my eyes.

Kinda O/T, but not at all O/T, but isn't the Greater New Orleans area considered to speak Cajun??

"Cajun" would be rural southern Louisiana, I believe. Considering the officer saying she had such an accent was from Louisiana himself, he may have made a distinction someone not familiar with the state wouldn't have.

Under details of disappearance, look at the places she visited or may have been seen....kind of matches with where Jane Doe's travels may have been...

I really like this as a possibility.

Statistics all match up pretty well and circumstances/locations are very similar. Both the UID and Diana may have traveled/have ties to Las Vegas. Diana is from Mississippi so very possibly had a Southern/Cajun accent. Looking at the PM pic I can almost see a mole on the face although it is not mentioned anywhere.

Diana Munyon side by side with the new composite. She was certainly living a lifestyle that might have fit in with this girl's details.

Also, the description indicates she might have used the name "Donna." Very close to "Diana."

Bumping, still only two names on the rule-out list. Diana Munyon looks like a good possibility to me, any more discussion on her?
