What is everyone's opinion on the villa in Vietnam? It sounds to me like HA & DA jumped into a plan that Charlie likely had discussed with that guy who is going to be a witness, Scott R, who lives over overseas. I think that once Charlie got arrested, the A's decided that they need to flee and that they were paying this place off in someone else's name for that purpose. I don't think it really was for Charlie. I think the "investment "is what they thought would be too clever by half (question whether or not they got any legal advice in that regard), and figured it would be a great way to flee without having their name on anything to trace it to.

I think that once CA was found guilty, that witness friend of Charlie's realized that they were planning on using that villa to flee and he didn't want to be a part of it. He was probably concerned about being an accessory and realized what they were doing. He then contacted TPD. I still to this day truly wonder if LE was on top of the As enough to have caught them before they boarded that plane if he had not contacted TPD.

I wonder that, too, and whether their passports were flagged. Sometimes I think maybe they weren’t.

I really don’t think they were. The warrants had not been issued. When you hear how jailhouse recordings are listened to sporadically, etc, I don’t think they would’ve acted in time if he hadn’t have called. I think they would be working on extradition about now. The justice community thanks him.

And for all the talk about it, I’m not sure how closely they are tracking Wendi either. I think that Harvey is last on their list, if ever.

Thank you. The only one I have ever seen online is the one from Mentor L, which is not the complete interview. It's cut up and I did not hear what was mentioned in that other post. I will check this out.
I’m not sure where Jay got his from. Yes the first interview may be edited. We talked about that here this week. We were looking for the “Kick his a$$” comment from him and couldnt find it.

It’s curious that Radius had a condo in Orlando, and sold it about 7-8 days after Charlie was arrested.
He definitely got out and never came back to Florida.
Thats suspicious. And no documentation of any purchase -the whole thing seems shifty.
Paying cash to Radius and what looks like cash deposits in Florida banks.

It’s a good point, but in my experience nobody is “driving by” ANY “house” on the Florida Turnpike, as it appears to me the defense is trying to claim. Maybe you have to be familiar with the area to know how absurd this would be, in my opinion. The Turnpike is a giant, busy four-to-six-lane highway with cars zooming at about 80mph and high walls or trees on each side. Perhaps you might say “near your exit,” maybe, or “passing your exit,” or even “passing your house” to indicate your general location. But “outside your house,” to me, is like saying “above your house” from a plane. And “outside” is not something, in my opinion, you say when you’re passing.
You are right because they would have to get off both I 95 and the Turnpike to get to Charlies house.
It’s not as if it’s stop and go driving and traffic lights.
Charlie lives off 441.
You just have to google “Whale Harbor” and then look at both I95 and Florida Turnpike to see how you would get to his house from both those highways.
Hey , since you are in the area, do you want to meet and watch the trial? Haha
It would be fun to share some popcorn and maybe some mimosas!

KP Was it "listed" before Charlie was arrested? His arrest was April 21, 2022, his trial postponed many times (Feb.28, 2023, March 16, 2023 etc) His trial didn't begin until Oct. 23, 2023. Can you send a link for the listing or address?
Thank you in advance.

I have to watch that one. I have heard the video of JL saying, in response to LE telling him they wanted to speak with him, that he shakes his head and says like, “I’m not surprised. I probably said a dozen times that I wanted to kick his a@@ bit I’m a professor, I never would.” I don’t remember the comments saying he was literally wiping floors or the other stuff. Not the slightest bit surprised.

On Scott R, I didn’t know about the move out of FL, etc. He may end up being shady, but luckily, he did the right thing.

Agreed. Do we even know if she is actually IN Austin?

My friends and I already have a plan, believe me! This is big news down here!

More public searching as trial approaches and wondering why not choose a specialist? And stick with him. "There are more than 88,000 lawyers in the state of Florida, however, only 374 are Board Certified Specialists (B.C.S.) in Criminal Trial Law. Mr. Weinstein is honored to have also earned an AV® Preeminent Rating – the highest rating available from Martindale-Hubbell, the leading independent attorney rating entity. An AV® Rating signifies that the lawyer has reached the heights of professional excellence; he or she has practiced law for a number of years, and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity."

During his trial, when CA tried to minimize the "outside your house" text, he said something to the effect of "The highway is only the length of a football field away from my house." Do you think he was suggesting they were driving on 441.

It’s always been my impression the defense was talking about the Turnpike. 441 doesn’t use SunPass, I don’t believe, and if you took it from Miami to Orlando it would take forever. That’s why they built the Turnpike in the first place. 441 was the old road that ran through the state, now it’s mostly used locally. It’s a regular road, not an expressway. I don’t think they’d have any reason to be on 441 unless they were stopping somewhere. 441 is in a Tom Petty lyric, though. So there’s that.
