Thursday, December 2nd:
*Status Hearing (@ 8:30am ET) – FL – Harley Don Hiatt, Jr. (2) (July 31, 2018, Davenport, Polk County; tortured to death) – for *Shanon Short (26/now 29) “mom” arrested & charged (7/31/18) & arraigned (9/11/18) with 1st degree manslaughter of a child, 2nd degree negligent child abuse with great bodily harm, 3rd degree child abuse, 3rd degree failure to report child abuse (<all case# 2018CF007158), arraigned (10/3/18) possession of marijuana & paraphernalia & VOP (Petit Theft) (<Case# 2018-CF000522) (on probation for stealing from Walmart). Plead not guilty. Bond $2K, changed to no bond.
Plead guilty (6/29/19) to possession & theft (#2018CF000522A000XX). Probation revoked (7/23/19). Mandatory $5K civil penalty (8/14/19).
Trial was set to begin on 12/31/20 with jury selection has been continued with no further dates.

*Christian Martell Thompson (26/now 29) – Status hearing on 1/27/22. Trial set to begin on 8/21/23.
 
@PayrollNerd - I know you are not home - but when you get back - is there another hearing set yet? Still won't let me access the court site from your links... :(

@PayrollNerd - thanks for the info. Maybe at Thompson's next status hearing on 1/27/22 he'll make a plea deal - and that is why jury selection on 8/21/23 was deleted - ??

Thursday, January 27th:
*Status hearing (@ 8:30am ET) – FL – Harley Don Hiatt, Jr. (2) (July 31, 2018, Davenport, Polk County; tortured to death) – for *Christian Martell Thompson (26/now 29) “BF of mom” arrested (8/1/18), charged (7/31/18) & arraigned (8/3/18) with 1st degree murder, 1st degree aggravated child abuse, 1st degree aggravated manslaughter of a child & 2 counts of 2nd degree negligent child abuse. Plead not guilty. No bond. DA will seek DP.
Trial was set to begin on 5/17/21 with jury selection was moved to 5/18/21 continued to 8/21/23 for jury selection but was deleted from court site on 12/1/21 - for Thompson only.

7/19/21: Order on petitioner Motion for appointment of counsel (CA Chastang). Next status hearing on 7/26/21. 7/26/21 Update: Next status hearing on 11/2/21.
11/2/21 Update: Next status hearing on 1/27/22 & trial has been set to begin with jury selection on 8/21/23. 12/1/21 Update; Jury selection on 8/21/23 has been deleted.
*Shanon Short (26/now 29) “mom” – Status hearing on 2/4/22.
 
@PayrollNerd - probably a bit early - but wondering if Thompson has a new court hearing date yet?

I do have Short on 2/4/22 for a status hearing.
