Dang... I looked up Short this morning, but now the Polk County site won't let me back in.... Hopefully this is still a "go".

Monday, May 17th:
*Motions Hearing (@ 10am ET) – FL – Harley Don Hiatt, Jr. (2) (July 31, 2018, Davenport, Polk County; tortured to death) – for *Christian Martell Thompson (26/now 28) “BF of mom” arrested (8/1/18), charged (7/31/18) & arraigned (8/3/18) with 1st degree murder, 1st degree aggravated child abuse, 1st degree aggravated manslaughter of a child & 2 counts of 2nd degree negligent child abuse. Plead not guilty. No bond. DA will seek DP.
Trial was set to begin on 5/17/21 with jury selection was moved to 5/18/21 - for Thompson only.

@Niner There is a hearing today for Thompson on a motion to suppress at 10:00 am. Then there is a jury selection hearing tomorrow 5/18/21 at 8:30 am for him also. There is nothing new on Shanon Short’s docket. I’ll check back tomorrow if you want me to update after the hearing today.
