i agree about common sense, but we've seen juries come back with verdicts that have shocked us. i used to take for granted and assumed people had the same common sense as i see things, but i no longer do that. one thing i think will be easy for them is the attempted murder counts, and hopefully the murder count also. jmo

Totally. Common sense is not always common. Sometimes within their vacuum juries don't always see the full picture, or let personal biases get in the way, or just plain can't think for themselves. We'll see what happens. I won't be shocked if he is found not guilty or is convicted of a lesser included. I still have faith though.
I hope the Prosecution will put on a Witness to explain how the auto lock feature works on the Durango. If a from passenger does not hit the unlock button, the rear passengers can not get out. It has nothing to do with child locks. As I posted earlier, we had a Durango that had this same feature and if I was sitting in the back seat., I had to remind whoever was in the front to unlock so I could get out. The child lock features were not engaged.
I just talked to our friend who Owens a Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler Dealership. On the newer Durangos, you can go into the settings menu and customize how you want the door locks to work.
