Was she even missing at all? Was the car with the cellphones and money a ruse?
That’s a very good question.

“Fosher was last seen on the 18th driving her aunt’s vehicle, which was later found abandoned in an empty lot. Family members indicated that fisher occasionally visited the house where the fire occurred”

So many questions. Who saw her last (and if so, are they a suspect?)? Who was actually occupying the house she visited and was found in? Was it owned but vacant?

This will likely turn out to be a murder investigation.

I think she was killed at the house and the house was later set a blaze to cover up evidence.

Car was taken by how ever did this to her and for what ever reason that person left their phones and money in the car when the car was abandon. Possibly a drug deal situation.

I agree. Kelli had previous felony drug charges. I know firsthand how hard it is to stay clean. I hope Pinellas/St Pete PD has a suspect, but if they have, they haven’t shared. MOO

If LE can get any information from the phones, it should be pretty easy to figure out who was using them and work up a suspect. Even if the phones turn out to have been used by Kelli's, the phone may lead to someone she recently had contact with that is responsible for her death.

It was reported in an article that I read, that one of Kelli's family members stated that Kelli frequented the house where her burned body was found. I wonder if the house was abandon and being used as a drug house. Surely anyone living there would have known there was a dead body in the house after 10 days.

I wonder if Kelli was seen on any traffic cams in the car or if it is just hearsay by a family member

I remember something the aunt reported that stood out to me earlier.

According to the article:
Halstead said Fisher's aunt was the last person to see her. The aunt reportedly told police she heard the car leaving the morning of July 16, and by the time she was able to look outside, the car was already driving down the street. However, Halstead said the aunt is confident Fisher was in the car.

Also…The car was found only a mile and half down the road.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a St. Petersburg woman who was found dead in a burned-out home in July.

Ivan Edward is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Kelli Fisher, 42, who was last seen leaving in her aunt’s car on July 16, the St. Petersburg Police Department said in a news release.

*****
Police described Edward as a “family acquaintance” who was known to Fisher. The Pinellas medical examiner determined she had been stabbed “numerous times” before the house fire.

Detectives arrested 23YO Ivan Edward and charged him with first degree murder for the death of 42YO Kelli Fisher. Fisher went missing July 16. On August 1, the Pinellas medical examiner confirmed remains found in a burned-out house were those of Fisher.

"I just couldn't imagine him doing something like that," Smith said. "I just can't imagine why."
Smith said Edward was like family to Fisher.

"She called him her son," Smith said. "He was the boyfriend to one of her daughters like five or six years ago."

Smith and Richardson said the twists and turns of the situation have them believing Edward didn't act alone.
Smith said, "We still have a lot of questions and to tell you the truth, I don't believe he was the only one involved."

Ashley Limbardo, an SPPD spokesperson, said the suspect had keys to the home she was found in, which made him a person of interest.

While he was a person of interest, police said they were awaiting confirmation from the crime lab before he was charged on Wednesday.

"They had to rely heavily on forensic evidence. And that also takes a little bit of processing to go through. And so, when they finally received a hit today, they were able to charge Edward with first-degree murder," said Limardo
