Then why take all the guns?

I am not sure that we can ever work out why people do inexplicable things. Maybe he wanted at one stage to make it look like a burglary and someone had abducted him. Why would he bury his grandmother? He had to know she would be found? I don't imagine he was thinking straight.

My husband takes his on and off, leaving them laying around in different places. IMO, this doesn't really indicate anything.

Plus, he's a kid. He may just not like wearing them.

Money, protection, and/or just wanted them.
I don't think he has any intentions of hurting himself. Burying the body was prior thought of someone to provide time to get away.

I think it will be a lot clearer when we learn exactly the time frame Logan had lived with his father. Had he ever lived with his mother?

There was a reason it was mentioned that the divorce had taken 11 1/2 years. That is an unusual amount of time! Where was Logan during all this time?

For me, I believe the answers to the deep rooted problems that lay inside Logan will revolve around this stretched out divorce.

I think it's totally unfair to blame the parents.People act like the dad left him on the streets. He let him for short time with his loving grandma. The kid was lucky to have people in his life that loved him which many kids don't.I feel bad for the actual victim which is Kristina. No excuses.

I don't blame the parents but if we're searching for clues as to what might've set this in motion, I think we have to keep in mind that LM was not thinking logically. Obviously he was not happy about something (possibly school) and IMO it's not unusual for a troubled teen to become jealous of time and attention given to their younger siblings or their parents' new girl/boyfriend. His parents could be loving, devoted and dedicated to him but that doesn't mean that LM would see it that way. I'm not making excuses but I'd like to know what lead to this tragedy.

RIP Kristina :rose:

Actually, all national Wal-Mart's now carry 3 types of over the counter insulin that can be purchased without prescription

My Mother was a diabetic, and she always had to keep her insulin in the fridge. Always kept refrigerated, no matter what. When traveling she kept it in those insulated lunch bags, w/packs of ice.

So what I'm thinking is this young man is going to have to be stopping a long the way for ice, and hopefully someone will recognize him.

Another thought...if it's sold 'over the counter', is it refrigerated? I don't get that?????

LM has not yet been named a suspect nor has he been charged of killing his grandmother. Though it’s super easy to understand how he could be involved. He does have a warrant for taking the car.

Sandalwood is an Early College high school (I believe there are five in the county) but I don't think they start the program until 11th grade (same with Dual Enrollment which is by far the more widely utilized program in Duval County). From where his dad lives his area high school is Fletcher so he either started at Sandalwood so he could begin the EC program when he entered 11th grade or he was there on special assignment.

This whole story gave me a bad feeling from the start and my heart really goes out to Kristina's son who has lost his mom and will lose his son one way or another if he is responsible for this awful situation.

Here in Escambia County you can enroll in college classes your Sophomore year.

I'm really curious as to why it took LE about 3 days to find the shallow grave of Kristina in the backyard. How hidden was it?

I am in the Jacksonville area, and immediately had the same thoughts, especially in regards to the father. Why not take the son on vacation too? And his mom has 3 kids under 5? Clearly she didn’t have much time for him.

This appears that be a child that was left behind as both parents moved on to new lives. It sounds like he snapped and took it out on the person who probably cared about him the most.
I think you hit the nail on the head. His anger issues aren't even remotely surprising. He may blame his mother's new family; her younger children and their father should probably be in protective custody.

Just observing but dad isn't doing any pleading? He did just lose his mother and is probably worried about his son but I wonder if they had tension. Jmo.

They found it on Thursday evening. Police were only called on Wednesday a little after 2pm. So it wasn't 3 days.

Wonder where the other Early College schools are
