Little boy reunited with family after wandering Florida neighborhood alone; mom still missing
Cavett’s family told reporters they last spoke to her about two weeks ago.

“I FaceTimed her on July 17. We were on the phone for about an hour and she was fine,” one of the sisters said. “She didn’t have any plans to come to Florida, so we’re very confused right now.”

I also find it extremely insensitive for people offering to adopt him. I understand it’s because he pulls at their heartstrings and they mean no harm, but the child has a family who all love and adore him. He’s not an orphan. It’s kinda rude actually. You can think it, but to post on the missing page that you’ll take him?

Little boy reunited with family after wandering Florida neighborhood alone; mom still missing
Cavett’s family told reporters they last spoke to her about two weeks ago.

Reunited at the police station, but Aug. 13 is the hearing. News said DNA was done.

Miramar police find missing mom’s truck in Hollywood
A statement from Hollywood police said: “Miramar Police received information that Leila Cavett had recently traveled to Florida from Alabama, and that her last known location was possibly in the area of Hollywood Boulevard and US 441. Additional, Miramar Police located Ms. Cavett’s vehicle in Hollywood’s jurisdiction.”

They did not confirm when she was seen in the area.

I’ve been following this case all over simply because I have family in the vicinity. Has anything been mentioned about the hard rock casino in Hollywood? I’ve been several times and on one occasion, I was propositioned by a (assumed) prostitute. I was followed into the women’s bathroom and she started kicking in my bathroom stall door pretending she knew me. I was terrified and didn’t have my phone on me so I pushed the door open as hard as I could and ran out into the casino to my waiting husband. As soon as I started yelling to call police she calmly walked away in the other direction and we had the police escort us out to our car. Not sure what Leilas intentions were and a casino is not exactly the best place to bring a toddler but I wouldn’t trust it seeing that she’s a young, pretty girl.

Last night I made a post on here about GPSing the where the boy was found to the beach area. Honestly I think the biggest reason that Hollywood LE have taken it over is because her truck was found in Hollywood.

Is it possible that her truck broke down and then someone she THOUGHT was going to help her kidnapped her? Just random thoughts. Still don't know WHY she was in Florida though. Could be the person she was meeting that kidnapped her.
