“On June 16th of last year at 9:30pm, you texted S this: M is no longer sleeping with me, I can’t risk it. What does that mean?”

Very long pause by JS and then she says she doesn’t know.
WTF....she doesnt know she doesnt know she doesnt know. because she has no scripted answer to replace the truth.

and how about this: in the vein of the sleeping meds, Hydroxzine. she says she finally gets SS to admit he gave her a second dose. but the inquiry swings right into JS's THC pills. the color....and then asked did she ever confront SS if he had given her THC medication to Madeline...noooooo. does she recall any conversation she may have had with him that he may have accidentally given Madeline THC....she says that hadnt occurred to her.

JS is then told there is a conversation on her phone where Madeline questioned HER about the medication and said they were different bigger pills ......which then prompted JS to have a conversation with SS. we dont get to know JS and SS's exchange......the inquiry ends there with him saying If you dont remember, it was year ago....

there is this: Madeline knew what her pills looked like....she told JS she was given something else by SS. this could be two separate instances, one the double dose of Hydro and the other instance, the 'different' pill Madeline questioned.

if thats not a red flag I dont know what is?

She didn't let SS drive her car to take Maddie to school to avoid embarrassment, because he was not on her insurance.

Yet she did relent and let him take her car when he wanted to go out searching that night.

She said earlier that on that night she didn't know SS had gone out taking her car until the next morning when she got in it and the seat had been moved.

The whole story has changed once more.

SMH. She had a get-out-of-jail free card, and she tore it into tiny little pieces and threw it into the gutter in the cause of trying to protect SS.

IMO of course.
Bolded for reference. My god I hope so. Because Imo she knows more.

Thanks to all that have read/listened to the investigation documents/interviews and summarized the main points as I do not have time.
I am curious if it has been stated anywhere what prescription medications JS had? All I've seen is the THC. Anything else?

JS was asked about Madeline's period in February: JS states she did not notice her using any feminine products in February. she was asked if she ever talked to Madeline about not having her period at the beginning of Feb? Answer: no. but then says she had a few super late or skipped ones so she assumed this was one of those times. then whispers no I didnt. (talk to Madeline about it). did JS ever discuss her periods with SS? Answer: I dont think so.

Madeline showed her blood (rectum) and when it (poop) was stuck. and then was asked did she ever specifically seek treatment for tears or bleeding regarding her bowel movements. 'no, I dont think so.....tears or anything like that, no.'

so, the menstrual cycle was part of the questioning, and JS, claims clueless, as usual. in addition, SS's knowledge of her cycle? again, doesnt think she discussed Madeline's menstrual cycles with him.

hmmmm, limited use immunity, hope LE discovers something from her answers that lead them independently to her culpability, at the very least, covering for SS knowing Madeline was deceased. very significant questions, drugs, menstrual cycles etc. but a few questions which stopped short of follow up.

You picked up on many of the same things I did.

Trying to transcribe the interview.
  • JS Working in a hotel at a disney property on the 25th of february. Getting off at 10 pm. Got directly home. Ride home took her 25 to 30 minutes.
  • When JS got home. She said she saw MS and SS. JS does NOT recall what madeline was wearing. And she said she don't know what SS was wearing.
  • Dinner conversation. What do they usually eat when getting home from work. JS said she ate a pub sub in her bedroom. They asked if anyone else ate food there that night. And she answered no, with a bit of mumbling i could not understand.
  • They ask about the conversation about the birthday party between MS and JS. They ask when that did occure. JS said right after she got home in her bedroom. She said 'everyone is in my room'. They asked specific. JS, MS and SS were in her bedroom. At this point they ask again, what was madeline wearing. JS said I don't know.
  • They ask in a different way what MS was wearing. Can you tell me if it was a long sleeved green sweatshirt and jeans? JS said no.
Continuing in a bit.

  • Would she kind of been in her bed gear or was she still in her dress that she wore at her birthday celebration? JS said, she would have been in pajama's, she can't recall what kind of pajama's. By this point in the evening she got already showered and changed out of the birthday dress.
  • Was it your understanding from your sister that she gotten MS dropped off at 8.30. JS said 8.30, 8.45 arround that time.
  • What is your understanding when SS gotten there? Big sigh by JS. LE explaining its important what happened THAT night and not what usually happens. JS responds she is not sure at what time SS got there. She doesn't remember if SS texted that he got at their place.
  • How long were the 3 of you in your bedroom? JS said, im gonna say for about 30 minutes.
  • Did MS tell you about the party? JS said yeah. Did MS tell you what kind of food they had at the party. JS said yeah, they got her favorites. What are her favorites? JS said, puerto rican food. They ask if they can translate to english what kind of food it was. JS is laughing. MS had requested a dish like rice and beans, with pidgeon peas? It's a kind of pork but she does not know how too cook it. That is typically what MS request for her party.

  • What kind of gifts did she get? JS said she got alot of money, that is what she ended up showing me, she had a few trinkets but most of it was money she was so excited for.
  • Is there a particularly reason stephan could not make it up to the party? cause it is my understanding he did not exactly work or anything. JS said he would not have been invited. The party was held at my moms house, and my mom and him had never had a great relationship. She never liked him, so he would not have been invited at the party at all. Just would have been my whole family. And me if i had not worked.
  • During the 30 minutes that all 3 of you are in your bedroom is MS engaging in any kind of nighttime routine or getting ready for bed? what else is going on if anything? JS said they had a long conversation talking about gifts, having her show me and counting all of her money. I can't remember if she finished with all of her bedtime routine.
  • Does she brush her teeth at night? JS said in the shower. And that occured before you got home? JS said yes.
  • In my understanding with her nighttime medication that that is something that you would like to make sure *something redacted, can't make out the sentence anymore*. Where you present for that occuring? or did that occure after you got home? JS said that did not occure on my call. I believe i had instructed MS when she got home to go ahead and take them herself.
  • Is that something she is allowed to do? JS said from time to time yeah.

  • When you say they in my understanding there was hydroxyzine, is there anything else she takes at night? JS said just hydroxyzine. Alright and the miralax is when? JS said miralax is *redacted*. So that would have been earlier when you would have been at work too if she took it? JS said yeah. May not have because she was at the party? JS said yeah, because she has been, because i had been training at work that week and we have been going back and forth with my mom alot. The miralax was not consistent.
  • Alright now, madeline does she lay out her clothes for school the next day or is that something she gets in the morning and makes a game time decision like my kid? JS said typically it is a game time decision morning off *mumbling end*.
  • What about this specific evening, do you remember anything about it? JS said yes this evening we had, i already had discussed prior to stephan coming to visit that he was going to help me take MS to school that day. So because i knew that that was going to happen that night. I had asked MS pick out your clothes, have everything ready. Have your backpack ready, your water bottle. Everything ready so that way you can just grab your stuff and head out. It won't be too much of a hassle in the morning. *little bit of mumbling, could not understand*.... I asked her what she was wearing. She told me what she had picked out and i said okay fine.
Sorry for the grammar errors. I have to go the work. Im going to continue tonight.

In the first few minutes, LE explains that nothing she says in this interview can be used against her, as long as she's truthful.

So, around the 32:00 mark:
Maddie wanted to sleep over at her best friend's house, and JS wouldn't allow it because
"No, no, no, anything could happen, I didn't know her Dad, I didn't know her brother, I didn't know anybody there, I don't know what could happen to you, just afraid of her getting assaulted".
I can't believe this woman was so cognizant that other men/boys might take advantage of Madeline (the assumption being a sexual assault), and yet ... her daughter was being exploited from the age of 8 by Jenn's creepy partner. She paints the picture of being a concerned mother, but she wasn't a concerned mother when it came to her own home because she accommodated a pedophile unlimited access to her adolescent daughter, delivering Madeline directly to his bed for years and years. For JS to suspect other males, means she was very aware of the possibility of sexual assaults from both boys and men. I don't believe this woman knew "nothing" about what was occurring in her home. It's just not logical to believe that.
And ... why was it stated in the beginning that nothing she said could be used against her? Did she get a deal of some kind before that interview? Is the idea here that JS will testify against SS at trial?
MOO.

56:34 JS makes it sound as if Maddie spent an hour in the shower nightly.

an hour PLUS shower. and in the low sheepish whisper, she says .."and she loved it."
Maddie tried washing the filth of the monster off her and she could never remove it all! Maybe the only time that she felt safe in her own home was in the shower.
MOO.

IMO, it almost feels like JS was isolating MS and trying to limit her alone time and exposure with other people possibly for fear or MS revealing too much to others or getting too comfortable and would share? Or maybe MS would figure out what's happening at home isn't normal?

56:34 JS makes it sound as if Maddie spent an hour in the shower nightly.

How big was their hot water heater to accommodate a nightly hour-long shower, along with the needs of at least 3 other people in the house?

What parent wouldn't march into the bathroom and say, that's enough, young lady, get out.

Such BS IMO.
I think, since years she had to be extremely clean for someone other than herself?

This is JMO, and MOO. I am speculating that JS could not remember one way or another, because she was in an overmedicated haze courtesy of prescription medications and cannabis that rendered her incapable of putting together her own recent timeline. It is my opinion based off her words and actions that she’s in a sleepy fog a fair amount of the time (and actually asleep a fair bit, too.) This doesn’t negate anything she did (or failed to) but would explain a lot, IMO, about the confusing and obviously untrue things she said.
Allegedly she was working, even a new job. She can't be that confused and sleepy all the time, IMO.
