Another shooting, reportedly unrelated to the Seminole shootings, the LE advice is appropriate for anyone, anywhere, imo.

[h=1]Club shooting leaves 1 dead in Tampa, other victims possible[/h]
Emerald Morrow ✔ @EmeraldMorrow Lots of shell casing markers along E. Lake in Tampa after someone was killed at Island Grill restaurant/club. Doesn't appear to be related to Seminole Heights killings.

4:11 AM - Nov 13, 2017 · Tampa, FL
Lt. Rick Ubinas with the Tampa Police Department said he was not aware of any previous problems at this bar, but stressed the importance of being aware of your surroundings.

“I always think now it's always good advice with everything that's going on, maintain good situational awareness when you walk in somewhere, look at the exit points, look at how people are acting/behaving. Is there and argument starting/brewing?" he asked.

"Well, then It might be time to leave."

"She was walking to a friends house, and she always took this vacant lot because she liked to feed the feral cats in this lot and her murder approached her right there in the vacant lot and she was shot about 5 times in the chest," Monica Hoffa's sister Ivy Gates said."

Thanks. I agree that the first guy is heavier too and that the second one was funny in his running style. Did you check out the third robbery?
Thw first one : What a an idiot - unless he lives on Mars he is caught! Zero effort to hide his identity, I think this guy is heavier

THe second one for a while it looked like it might just the way he dressed with the long jacket etc But at the end when he runs off its not the same
run at all moo

Its odd to go from a robber to murderer. I am wondering if the three were random. They could have met via gay stuff (Grinr. club) where noone would really know they had any connection

Have pondered if they were going to out him and maybe he had religious family and or was married with children , or could impact his job something like that.........................................

speculation only

There has been another shooting around 5 this morning. Shooter was seen fleeing on foot. Lots of police presence and people in area being asked to stay in their homes. Police are not connecting it to other murders, but not ruling it out either. Here’s a picture I found in abc action news website. I added a yellow dot where the current shooting took place. 49561A6C-7DEC-41D9-A154-0C5C14A8572B.jpeg

[h=1]Police: shooting death of Tampa man, 60, is likely fourth in Seminole Heights killings[/h]
Police Chief Brian Dugan said police received reports of shots fired at 4:51 a.m. near Nebraska Avenue and E McBerry Street.

Investigators believe the shooting is connected to the three previous slayings in Southeast Seminole Heights.
"It's very unfortunate here that we've had another one," Dugan said during a news conference at the shooting scene.

Robert Clark, who was doing laundry at a laundromat near the shooting scene with his girlfriend, told the Tampa Bay Times he was putting money in a washing machine when he heard five shots, turned around saw a man running east. Clark said he walked over to where he heard the shots and saw body there.

Officers found Felton's body in the road along N Nebraska Avenue, north of E Caracas Street

Cynthia Murray, 68, said Felton was living with her in the neighborhood. He had been homeless and Murray took him in "some time ago," she said.

He worked much of his life in construction in Tampa but was not working lately, volunteering a few days a week with a food bank at the New Season Apostolic Ministries, she said. The ministry is at the intersection where the body was found, Nebraska and Caracas.

Felton would show up to help with the food bank at 2:30 a.m., she said.

A native of New York, Felton had a twin brother, Reggie, Murray said.

Police have told him they hope the killer makes a mistake, Naiboa said. "But every time he makes a mistake, someone loses their life."

I just woke up to the local news about this(I live in Tampa just not seminole heights). Very alarming..[emoji17]

Residents within the police perimeter -- Osborne Avenue to Hillsborough and Nebraska Avenues to 15th Street -- are asked to stay in their homes and keep their children home from school until an "all clear" is given.

"We want to talk with as many people as we can, we don't think whoever did this has gone very far at this point," Hegarty said.

Eight Seminole Heights-area schools are under a "lock-in," meaning children can be dropped off but will stay there safe until further notice. Elementary schools have extra security while other schools already have security on campus.

Those schools include:
• Elementary: Edison, Lockhart, Lomax and Seminole Heights

• Middle: Ferrell, Memorial and Young

• High: Hillsborough High School
Police ask people to review any surveillance cameras they might have and share it with investigators.

"If you own a gun and it's in your home, I want you to go to your home right now ... and find out if your gun is still there," Dugan said. "If it's not, we need you to call us."

I wonder how many residents have left the area? Must be scary as hell. I remember during the Atlanta child murders, Jacksonville had a huge influx of kids. Seemed half the city moved here, living with relatives or family friends.

The suspect being African American fits the profile. Most (I know that not all) serial killers kill people of their same race. The only victim that's not African American is Monica Hoffa.

Not a lot of details exist about her, just that she was shot at a vacant lot, but I think she and the first victim may hold the key to identify and apprehending the unsub. She stands out in the others. Was she just a victim of opportunity or something else?

Potential Fourth Victim of Tampa Serial Killer Found, Police Say

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/potential-fourth-victim-tampa-serial-killer-found-police-say-n820566

A Florida man walking to church to feed the homeless is believed to have become the fourth victim of a serial killer terrorizing Tampa.

Ronald Felton was fatally shot just blocks from a memorial honoring three people who were killed within days of one another in the neighborhood of Seminole Heights in Tampa.

I forgot to add that as far as we know, she's the only female victim. Another anomaly.
