I did a quick check at the court of appeals as to the status prior to the next court hearing on the 18th this week.

The state did get a delay, and they were two months late from original as far as their submission. Then they turned around and asked for an expedite, which the court denied and said moot.

I did look up the case load for the assistant state attorney,( Stephen e Edwards is handling this case), and he has a current caseload of 199 cases.

193 are older than this case, five cases have been assigned to him since Rodarte case. It was disheartening to see such a large amount from 2017 and before.

I think I was being extremely optimistic thinking this would only be a six-month delay. I'm going to now say it's going to be substantially longer. I hope I am wrong for her family's sake.

Again, this is just a ploy MOO because he knows he is going to prison, but he is just doing delay delay so he can spend most of his time served in jail versus prison. Im sure he is aware most all Florida prison cells aren't air-conditioned and we know how jails are better than prisons etc etc., it makes me feel that he is playing the system. He and his attorney.

I had not realized or remembered that others from the restaurant were brought in at the same time for interrogation. So he just sat there for 90 minutes thinking that others were being interviewed. Interesting. This video was put up just 3 hours ago and has over 26,000 views. Wow! This is a 40 minute video to listen to when your are doing other stuff as no need to view except in the beginning for folks that follow here. MOO

Nothing has been updated since March 2nd from the Appellate Court. The wheels of Justice at the Appellate Court are moving very very slowly. Who knows how long it's going to take, I think originally I thought a year or two oh, unfortunately it's what it's looking like.

I actually went and subscribed to his Patreon after watching those videos. Adding this case to ones that I'm "following" on here in addition to Linda Stolzfoos (sp?), and Chad and Lori.

I see you've mentioned several times that you have notes on documents, I'm curious, do you keep handwritten notes or do you keep a doc on your phone/computer?

I have a chronic nerve pain disease so I am home all day (even pre-COVID times, lol), and I've been debating "studying" some cases and taking notes. I've been trying to follow Chad and Lori but I'm not 100% familiar with all the names and going-ons in their lives. I was thinking of maybe starting with that. Once people start using initials especially on Reddit, I get all confused. (mods, please modsnip the name of Reddit if it's against TOS I can't remember >.<)
