I'm just wondering about groundskeepers around that area. Someone who would have a cart or a wagon or something they use to haul stuff to the dumpster on a regular basis. They wouldn't stick out at all. But I'd still think somebody doing it in the middle of the night would be odd. Maybe there's a clean up guy for the park or something that works late??

Did someone here said that man who killed himself recently worked for the Park and Rec.?

WTF who is this Kyle dude why are the reporters not all over him, at least clear his name if he is so...innocent. The reporter who tracked himdown who is this person? I know that he is Vinson's assistant, howold is he ? where did he come from? yada yada

I'm really thinking that Kyle might be the killer, the one for sure watching the media. Maybe Diena was taunting and trying to get him to call back when she made that odd statement about him not being able to get anybody.
MommaD e-mailed the reporter who talked to Kyle. The reporter said that he contacted Kyle, not the other way around. So he knows who Kyle is and I'm sure LE does too. They swabbed the assistant construction worker for DNA and that is most likely Kyle.

think about this....someone living close by here. this was supposedly the first place searched, then moving on down toward Somer's home...if it was someone close, they could see everything going on, even be a part of that search, until later that night....or in the wee hours of the morning....it is dark there I am thinking....maybe I should do a drive by at night and see......I can't go tomorrow like I wanted to, half day of school for my son, so it will have to wait for now...not sure when I can get back up that way....make me a list of what pics you guys want, and I will see what I can do...maybe this weekend...not sure

If it was someone living close and could see what is going on - so could everyone else who is living close. mho....I really don't think any perp in his right mind would walk into an open field to dump a child he has recently murdered.

A big thank you for all the help you are giving WS - I appreciate your time and effort. :blowkiss:

Okay , the window of this heinous crime narrows down to 3pm ish Oct 19th til the early morn Oct 20 around 7am . When does the sun rise in this part of the state?

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/astronomy.html?n=411&month=10&year=2009&obj=sun&afl=-11&day=1

Doesn't copy/paste well.

Jacksonville

Oct. 19 ... sun set 6:51 p.m.
Oct. 20 ... sun rose 7:32 a.m.

Orlando
Oct. 19 ... sun set 6:52 p.m.
Oct. 20 ... sun rose 7:29 a.m.

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/astronomy.html?month=10&year=2009&obj=sun&afl=-11&day=1&n=867

So you can estimate for Orange Park ... close to those I would think.

This is SO frustrating. Even if someone grabbed her at around 3pm or so and hid her someplace until they could get her into that vacant house, then that means they would have to move her twice....into the house...then into the dumpster. I don't see that happening.

Dr. Fessel, the dumpster pic on crankypants is after it was searched...I have no pics of before because there was no reason to have them then....kwim

Thanks Cam!! I will go back and change my post.

Okay, Kyle maybe this is his first strike at this kind of crime, waited for the others on the site to leave. I want to know more about him.

Also, I was told that if the electricity is on, you have garbage service (and are paying for it).
Now see, it's the opposite here, because our garbage bill is added onto our water bill! I would think that the contractor had the water on. He would not have wanted to pay his guys to walk across the street and back just to use the facilities. That in a day, X 2 or 3 guys, could really add up. Also, don't think the guys would much care for that, either. No, I think the water was on, in there.

Oh yes, I've been online too long. Went over to #11 to catch up and was SO HAPPY.

I had ONLY 9 pages of posts to read. Last time I was gone, I had an entire thread. LOL ... wish I had the power to lock this thread while I read the other one ...

Have we learned how the fire started, or if anyone was home when the house caught fire?

Dumpsters at constructor sites aren't considered part of the commerical dumpster pick up. They are rented by the contractors and emptied when the contractor makes arrangements.

Yeppers-my point, exactly! Thanks, Alexandra.

What if she got soot on herself (visiting Kyle and the others) and then decided to go to the bathrooms to wash up and/or watch for her siblings?

And was taken from the restroom/park to _________.

Was it said why he called Kyle or how he got his number? I guess I was thinking that maybe Kyle called and left a message for the reporter.

About trash pickup
... I went to check the trash thing and found: "The Town of Orange Park provides its own waste collection services. If you have any questions concerning your service, call (904) 264-7411 (Public Works), Monday thru Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (Currently, the Town of Orange Park doesn’t have a web site)."

This are the trash rules:
*Garbage - Material usually generated in the kitchen and bathroom.
*Trash – Any material that is part of a yard plant or shrub. Includes tree limbs, leaves, grass clippings.
*CED – Any material that is concrete rubble, bricks, lumber, or waste building materials, etc. Any material that is not water-soluble.
*Recyclables – Newspaper, mixed paper, cardboard (flattened), glass food or beverage containers (brown, clear, green), aluminum, steel, or tin food or beverage containers (labels ok), plastic soda (1 – PETE), milk and water jugs (2 – HDPE) (labels ok).
*Scrap metal (less than 40 pounds), automotive oil and batteries – may be delivered to the Recycling Center at 700 Ash Street (off Plainfield Avenue, just south of Wells Road).
*Residential garbage must be placed for collection in standard 20-30 gallon cans and may weigh no more than 40 pounds each.

----- No more than 3 cans per pick-up. -----

Rosemary Hill usage:
"Residents within the unincorporated area of the County, the City of Green Cove Springs and the City of Keystone Heights (residents who pay the Solid Waste Disposal Assessment) are allowed to use the Rosemary Hill SWMF and the ECCs.

If you reside on a property which pays the Solid Waste Assessment, you are allowed to bring in 500 pounds per calendar week of any type of material at no charge at the Rosemary Hill SWMF. Anything in excess of the 500-pound limit shall be charged as follows:" <snipped>

... "If you live within the city/town limits of Penney Farms, or Orange Park, you must bring your material to the Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility. All waste will be charged at the above-stated rates per ton."

--------

My point: 40 pounds maximum for container, maximum of 3 containers. Could be done, if there was mutilation (praying to God that I'm wrong.) And, a business sized dumpster could also be possible.

Finally, any resident of the county could've dumped ANYTHING in Rosemary Hill. Can someone assure me 100% that the body was brought to Rosemary Hill (before heading for the landfill) in a trash truck and not in a person's private vehicle?

Yep, I'm thinking that's more like it. It's very possible the perp hung out in the vacant house from time to time. Maybe he even went there after the fact...could have even put stuff there to make it look like the workers were involved. But I don't see someone killing her there. It would require moving her around too much...moo.

Does anyone REALLY believe that a 7 year old said, "nice work on the house"...?????

I think it’s a possibility that a 7 year old would say that if she walked to the
house thinking no one was there and then saw someone she wasn’t comfortable with.
I have a 6 year old granddaughter and I could imagine her saying “nice work
on the house” if she was scared.

And I keep thinking that the one thing Somer needed that day was a friend. She allegedly got in a squabble at school, her mom wouldn't be home from work, yet, and the other kids were ticked off at her, and...so at that point anyone would do, but...Deina evidently knew that the 13-year old son would be at the park, because that's where she picked him up. So maybe Somer was headed there.
Wonder if the older boy had a cell phone...Somer may have wanted to use it to call her mom, even.

No, but there would be a record of it since they say only once a week.
