The event was the official kickoff and a fundraiser for the Somer Thompson Foundation, which will raise awareness about protecting children from sexual predators.

Diena Thompson brought a jolt of energy to the Somer Jam concert held Saturday in her slain daughter's memory.

She danced and sang along to the chorus of the Journey song a band on stage was covering: "Don't Stop Believin'."

The crowd joined in, singing a song that seemed to personify Thompson's efforts to bring justice and now a purpose for the brutal murder last fall of 7-year-old Somer.

Great Picture

I'm waiting until we get a subforum to update the Jarred timeline.

What really makes me smile is I believe in final justice, and that will happen after he has taken his last breath and he meets our maker.

God don't like ugly and JH sure is an ugly soul.

JMO

I don't think he will meet our maker, he's going South... you know, where's REALLY hot.

IMO

:furious:

Just trying to make things easier in case we do get a subforum.

I see what you are saying. I believe he will meet our maker for his final judgement...then be sent downward.

Well then, with the "a mountain of evidence, admissions" etc. plus didn't the sheriff say in so many words the house was the crime scene? It seems game over to me! Momma has left town from press reports; which was to be his alibi from the phone call we heard. Seems as if he knows the "jig" is up with whatever "admissions" he gave. I hope what ever they have, his lawyer is satisfied & there is a "guilty plea" as a result.

Yeah, game over for sure!

I was thrilled to hear about the arrest and I actually thought about mommy dearest's alibi comment too. I can't help but wonder if she was involved somehow or had knowledge of the crime. If so and she was willing to help him cover it up, that is just disgusting.

Also, after I read the arrest report for Somer's murder something jumped out at me. It was the part that said "On the 19th day of October at 5:06 pm the defendant at 1152 Gano Av. Orange Park, FL 32073 within Clay County violated the law and did then and there..."

How do they know it was exactly 5:06 pm? I wonder if it is something he confessed to or if there is photo and/or video evidence with a time on it? No matter what it is, it just kills me to think of what that little girl went through in her final moments. I hope that he will rot in hell for what he did to Somer.

What a great catch Justice4Somer!!!!

Almost has to be a picture and admission.

She might have heard people calling for her.

I hate to think about this...but I agree about the 5:06 pm thing.
Even if he would have confessed, he would not have said, I did it at 5:06pm.

So, that leads me to the thought of maybe (and this KILLS ME TO SAY) there is a photo or video of Somer in that house or with JH that was timestamped 5:06 pm.

I can't think of another reason they would have the exact time on the report.
