I doubt that, she could just cancel or no show, and be off the program. There must be a reason why this occurred now, something that triggered the situation. Obviously, moving wasn't going to work.

Well, worst case scenario, we never find out what happened to Taylor, Mom goes to prison for "Caylee's Law".

Yeah, it makes me think that there is forensic evidence in the mom's old residence that points to foul play. Would it have occurred to her that LE might go and investigate an old address? Maybe not. Heck, if she had waited another month or two LE might not have been interested in the old place.

In a bizarre and twisted way it makes sense to have Taylor disappear right after a move; new house, new neighborhood makes a good cover for a child wandering off and getting lost. She may have thought she could outfox LE.

Any word on a boyfriend in the picture? That could trigger a need to be rid of her kid ala Susan Smith.

And as far as an accident happening I can't buy it. If mom's involved then whatever happened to Taylor is a crime, be it negligence, child abuse, whatever. I don't recall a case where a child died from a legitimate accident and the innocent parent was too afraid to call for help. MOO.

I hope LE releases the 911 call.

A few years ago I met some of our neighbors while I was having a yard sale. The Mom bought a dryer and mentioned having 5 kids, the youngest 2 were 2 yr old twins. My son and her oldest son, same age became friends and would hang out. FF about 6 months, the Dad asked to borrow a shovel for some gardening..we didn't think anything of it and a few months later the police were at their house.. One of the twins had not been seen or heard from in a few months, Mom had told everyone he was with an Aunt in another state. They wound up finding some of his charred remains in a burn barrel behind the house, some dumped in a ditch and some buried under a shed.. Dad used MY shovel for this. No-one had a clue. So yes, unfortunately a child can go unnoticed by everyone due to a parent telling everyone a different story.

I really wonder if there was abuse happening and this is the reason the mom isolated herself and her daughter and cut off family years ago. People can be nice at work and seem smart and be functioning and still be an abusive parent. It seems like all her actions lately have been covering up whatever happened to Taylor—CL ad for babysitter, moving, lying about her daughter being in the bathroom. At first I thought she is mentally ill and in denial, but now I’m thinking she is just trying not to get caught. This is a terrible case.

I am wondering if maybe she got deployment orders and knew she would get questioned by either the person who took care of her during other deployments or the navy. My husband was army and had to tell them who would be taking care of the kids during deployment even though we were married and I was going to care for them.

I've gotten WIC before and it wasn't worth the trouble. I just never showed up again. They certainly never tracked me down. It's totally voluntary. If you don't go nothing happens. Even a pediatrician doesn't track a family down if a child doesn't get brought in when a well check is due.

Holy moly... Hard to believe these things happen in "real life" to normal people!!! Wow... I mean , really , I know I am typing away on a missing persons forum which frequently involves crime and other horrific outcomes, but it sure is a reality check... How nauseating and horrible that must be for you to have been unknowingly and unwillingly connected to such an unnecessary and unbelievablely horrific, etc tragedy so so so sorry for you and for that family.... And on a side note, I'm a twin, can't imagine what life will be like for the one that is left to "live"- there is an unexplainable soul bond in twins.... Oh how tragic

This whole case is very odd. And not a lot of information is forthcoming.

The article states "Authorities say Taylor’s mother, Briana Williams worked on the Navy Base in Jacksonville, Florida. Taylor was enrolled at the Navy Base daycare.".

And "Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen Taylor with her mother any time in the last 6 months to call the police.".

So, was Taylor enrolled and attending daycare at the base? If so, why do "authorities" want to talk to anyone who has seen Taylor with her Mother in the last SIX months?
