I apologize in advance mods, but needed to get this off my chest.

It is amazing as to how many people are discussing the Tracy Ocasio case, but yet the same few people that have been discussing Jenn Kesse have been doing so since day 1. I would love some of you who haven't joined in the discussion to please do so and help us to find Jenn as much as I pray that we find Tracy too.

They both need to be brought home- good or bad.

Holding hat in hand - you are right. I vow to spend a bunch of time on the JK threads as my prayers have been with her from the very beginning as well. It can be so draining but everything we do helps. I am sad that there are so many cases I have a hard time keeping up with them all. :iamashamed0005:

Please know that I understand. I feel the same way about the Wix girls. They've received hardly a drop of interest, yet their family's lives are still as destroyed as they were the day they disappeared. Also know that I have visited Jenn Kesse's thread a few times and pray that she will be found, and pray for her friends and family. I really feel that the person who harmed Tracy also harmed Jenn Kesse. I really do!

I know TES is still here today, but has anyone been involved in the searches since Sunday? Where did they search this week? I wish they would stay until this coming weekend. I would like to commit myself to searching on Saturday. I wish i didn't have to work all week or i'd be out there right now.

What would prevent TES from staying until the weekend? is it monetary?

Volunteers and search crews from Texas-based EquuSearch are out for a fifth day in a row to look for missing Tracy Ocasio.

The 27-year-old Ocoee woman was last seen alive on May 27 when she left a MetroWest bar with James Hataway. She has not been heard from or seen since that night.

I don't know if Tim Miller himself is still here or not but I do know there is a Central Florida Division of TES that was formed late in the Caylee case. It's made up of locals who live in FL and/or Central FL all specially trained and practicing. They have the ability to search longer and more often than the entire "official" crew because they are local.

I think if Tim and the main crew have to leave, (it is VERY expensive every day they stay) that the Florida group might be able to search. Not sure who you would contact about that though.

The FL group searched for a missing man here in Brevard a few months back and found his body for his widow. I think they have searched several times for several people.

I have two questions. I have followed this case from the beginning but have not seen or heard anything as to whether a search warrant was served on Hataway's residence. Also wondering if the ground surrounding his house and in the general vicinity was closely examined for signs of s fresh grave? I ask these things because sometimes things are hidden in plaind sight because the perp knows most people won't search in an obvious place because it is too obvious. Maybe far-fetched, but I can't help but wonder.

also, is there a garage at the Hataway residence? I remember a case from Forensic Files where a girl had been missing for years (like over 15 I think) and her remains were found in a trunk in the perp's garage. Some family members had helped him move it over the years.

Not much help here...just doin' some basics.

Google maps gives a 7 mile route from the Tap Room to the approx. area of Hataway's & where the car was found (I used approx for starters). Travel time 14 mins., call it 15mins.

This gives a working speed of 30mph.
Having an approx. timespan of 1 hr (2:30AM - ~1:30AM) to work in, of which 15 mins was req'd to get from Tap Room to final car location leaves 45mins
Worst case 45min * 30mph = 22.5 miles /2 (to & from) = 11.25 miles.
So...again...lots of simplificaiton & not much help. Still...FWIW.

Thought the route might also provide some areas of interest as well.

A CID from the 8:30AM calls would be a huge help. I'm seeing 5 cell towers surrounding the area where the car was found. With a CID we could determine what ~120degree sector and on which one of these towers the transmission was carried. I'm assuming the phone was not with the car. I'm sure LE has this info and has shared w/ TES.

If POI still had the phone when it began ringing 8:30AM he would've ditched it. If the mother's records show her attempted calls stopped pinging the phone in a short time span (e.g. from a landline) then you could determine that the phone was 'acted on' as a result of the calls IYKWIM. This would be easy to determine w/ both sets of records...less so if the mother was attempting calls from a cell phone.

If the POI's whereabouts are witnessed ~8:30AM then his location can be fixed and there could be a very tight search for the phone itself based on when the mother's attempts began to fail. Finding the phone may be the next best thing to finding the the girl...leading to leverage on the POI or others to start talkin'.

Yes. I think it is safe to say it's the belief of many here (myself included) that by looking into Tracy Ocasio's disappearance, we very possibly are working toward the resolution of Jennifer's case.

Yes - There was a search warrant issued on 6/2/2009 (which is how he got arrested for the drug paraph. charges for what they found there). The Police brought both cadavdar dogs and bloodhounds. The dogs did not find her scent anywhere on the property. There is no garage. The police spent the day searching the surrounding area with both dogs. No hits.

They haven't released whether the parents called from a cell phone vs land line. I will do a look back and see if I can verify.

Not much help here...just doin' some basics.

Subtract the 15 mins travel from Tap Room to car location leaves 1.25hrs

So...again...not much help, but, sweep out a radius roughly equal to the distance between the car found location & the Tap Room 360degrees w/ the car @ the center, and you have the largest possible search area.

Thanks. And I made some logic errors too...that'll teach me to tackle thinking in the wee hours of the morning :bang:

Radius increases to something like 22-23 miles... that's not much help...only to rule out locations of wild speculation really.

Ping info & POI info the following morning would be huge insight.

Also - car being left so close to POI's house w/o anything for tracking K9's to pick up @ his place or the car if I'm reading correctly is something to work with too.

To be objective...placing the car so close to his house when he was known to have been seen as the last person with her could also be a frame.

• No signs of struggle re: the car?
• Keys with the car?
• Purse found?
• Key tag w/ w keyless entry fob?
• Car headed in which direction when found (pointed towards his/her house...which shoulder on if not pulled off onto a side road)?
• Gas situation / mechanical condition of the car...would it start when found?

Since POI had to get home and no other witness claims to have knowledge of how he got there it seems safe to assume he got there w/ her car...either before or after an incident...seems simple I know...:doh: Since he would've had to have gotten back by 2:30AM to be seen and have an alibia (sorta) he would've needed to park close enough to walk. Need to subtract out the walking time from the radius calc (using 4mph for the distance).

He says they went to his place to smoke'em and then he showed up @ his father's place?

I know I'm glossing over some things that have already been provided...I'm just not caught up yet.
