They don't have to recommend the death penalty in but one of the four cases so I'm guessing the jury can agree on Margaret Brown. She was not there with the other three victims so there is no way she presented any threat to him. She walked in and was ambushed; he admitted it.

I would vote first degree for all four. I think he watched the house till dark and then sneaked in with the intent to kill them. IMO he's a run of the mill "If I can't have you, nobody else can."
