Was she as pretty as she looks in her photo?
Can somebody who knows how to search public records see if they can find a marriage record for Wendy Huggy and EF <full name redacted>in Illinois, probably in the latter half of 1981?
Sleuthster, are you in touch with the Pasco County detective who left her email in that blog?
No. <modsnip>
She actually disappeared in Clearwater so it's odd IMO that Pasco is handling it. I would think Clearwater PD would be handling it.Strange.

Something I just realized, according to this she called at 11 pm from the mall saying she had a ride home. Most stores closed at 9 pm at Countryside Mall back then with the exception of Aladdin's Castle (gameroom), the ice skating rink and the movie theater. Really makes me wonder about the gameroom, lot's of crazy memories there.
Looking back along the route between Florida and Chicago, I found this unidentified woman: http://doenetwork.org/cases/491ufin.html

She was found December 26, 1982, in Wayne County, Indiana, which is one way to get to Chicago. Her estimated date of death was 8 months prior, which would be April. She was wearing maternity slacks, though it doesn't mention whether she was pregnant. I'm not sure whether there's a resemblance (I'm not good with faces.)
The height estimate is about 5'3" to 5'7", which is a bit on the small side, but we've seen heights be off before.
Wendy, who didn't have a car of her own, got a ride from the beach to the Countryside Mall. From there, she called her grandfather to say a man named Don would be driving her home. Wendy was scheduled to return to her grandmother's house later in the evening, and start a new job at a fast food restaurant the next day. She never arrived home and her family never saw or heard from her again.

Did you end up submitting this?
It looks like I didn't. Do you think there's any resemblance to Wendy?
The things that stand out to me not being a match.
The dark brown hair and the height but it could just be the artists rendering of brown. Her hair was more light brown but it was about that length.
Things that stand out that could be a match.
The maternity clothes. Odd that I don't see a mention that the doe was pregnant maybe I'm just missing it. Wendy was pregnant we've learned from the Tampa Bay Times article a couple years ago. Probably not far a long because I don't remember her looking pregnant when I first met her which would have been in Dec or Jan.
The jacket sticks out like I can picture her wearing it at the storage units watching the band play.
The location. She was from Chicago. Could have been hitch hiking back, Indiana is on the way.
Time frame would be spot on.
I would submit it. Thanks

They're in the process of getting her DNA into the system. So it could be a while but since Wendy's DNA is in the system already, we should have a definitive answer.
That would be awesome! Thank you.
