it is sad. many men in that circumstance have killed their wife and gotten things like manslaughter for heat of the moment..... in order to make sure they don't do this they need to focus on innocent babies.

I know the jury is considering the death penalty because of Michael and Thalia, so much of the emphasis of the trial has been on them, but it's sad to hear so little mention of Yessenia. Or maybe it's just my interpretation.

I think it's just that the defense was going for the DP in the deaths of the children and not Yessenia.

If he had broken down after his conviction and showed some remorse. Had decided to tell what happened and where the bodies were placed, even if they are now unrecoverable, had apologized to the families of the victims and the court and told all about his struggles with judgement because of his "abnormal brain", then I'd be okay with LWOP. Let him get a job in prison, go to school and learn those language and other skills he missed out on, be medicated for his disorders, whatever they may be, and live a somewhat productive life always remembering what he did to two innocent children and their mother.

But that's not the way LT rolls. I say vote for the DP and the sooner those appeals run out the better. He wants it so give it to him. He's going straight to hell anyway.

MOO

Sounds like they have a question about filling out forms? May be coming to a verdict soon?

Good thing he could hear the judge because the sound sure isn't working.
