By plausible, do you mean reasonable? If so, yes. The information NK imparted irreparably harmed the White's reputation. The BPD investigated NKs claims and found they were void of authenticity. Associating with John Ramsey forever altered life's peaceful course for the White family.
Initially, iirc, when the NK story broke, JRs name was not mentioned, at all, but an alleged rape was. That's another reason why the Ws should have the K documents released; even with minor redactions. I've read more NK stuff than anyone should subject themselves to doing. One possible way JR could have met FW during that time period, although the chances are slim, was when JR was stationed in CA after leaving Officer Candidate School in Rhode Island at the beginning of his Naval career and before being stationed in the Philippines.
During her radio show, Tricia, generously, gave us a heads up to stay tuned to action in Boulder.
FW recently requested another public exoneration, his first was given in April 1997, for himself to be declared as a witness and not a suspect in the JBR murder. The White's have not let this request for NK docs go for a reason. Maybe there is something the public should know contained in the docs. The White's certainly think they/we should be privy to its entirety even with "revealing police procedures" redacted.
