Former FBI Agent Reveals True Identity Of "Todd Black"

I think we would do better to go out and lift any rock to find him now. He isn't going to be at any given address on the internet.

This thread has NOTHING to do with LP. GR did NOT have anything to do with LP being in Orlando. Taking pot shots at him for no reason is not acceptable, imo. This thread is about GC.

What pot shot? We know that someone whose name has never been released was involved in bringing LP into the case. That someone obviously had a motive for doing so. I think it's reasonable to speculate that Todd Black, who specializes in selling true stories, could be that person. That's what WSer's do, right? Speculate in their efforts to find the truth? I think it was you who recently told me that.

Kudos to the WS-ers who figured out long ago that "Todd Black" was in fact Gil C.

"It simply DOES NOT MATTER if our company was founded by a gentleman who spent time in prison over twenty-five years ago, especially since that distinction is a key selling point that brings credibility to our services assisting celebrities, politicians and others charged with a crime. It simply DOES NOT MATTER that when he sold the company in 1996 he remained a consultant, just like it simply DOES NOT MATTER that security names are assigned to our company staff. Turning a prison experience into a successful business deserves respect, and in fact -mainstream news broadcasters and publications regularly employ as experts formally convicted individuals; G.Gordon Liddy, John Dean and Mark Fuhrman, to name a few. Working crisis media cases isn't fluff public relations, and in high profile situations using security names is required by Press Corps Media for employee safety."

Very interesting.

They're kidding, right? A prison experience? As if it was something bad that happened to him due to no fault of his own? Give me a break. I am not about to respect someone who went to prison for trying to extort another person and now is profiting from the crime.
Oh, and that kind of person is hardly a gentleman in my book. I almost thought the press release was satire. What a joke!

Only made it through the first post. Had to comment: OMG!!! Ha-great job wser's.

going back to read...

Is it bad that this has made my day?

"Eyewitness News may have solved the mystery surrounding the phantom PR man working for Casey Anthony's attorney. He calls himself "Todd Black," but that's not his real name.
A former FBI revealed to Eyewitness News that Todd Black is really Gil Cabot, a man who's spent time in prison for trying to extort money from a Los Angeles news anchor. The so-called Todd Black has been involved in the Casey Anthony case almost since the beginning."
 I am stunned! It does matter if this guy spent time in prison. It speaks to his credibility and honesty. Which, in my opinion he has none.
What is going on in this case! I swear this family attracts nuts.
What about Caylee?

I swear, if I were to try and write a book or screenplay about this case- focusing on all of the peripheral characters (and putting the tragic circumstances in the background - a la the movie about Pam Smart starring Nicole Kidman)-
I would be unable to finish it. The police would still be scraping my brain matter off of the giant flow chart in my office because my head would have exploded.

All I can say is WOW!!! I can't believe he is saying that it simply DOES NOT MATTER that he spent time in prison because that brings distinction as a key selling point that brings credibility to his services.

BAEZ SAYS THE PROSECUTORS ARE TRYING TO DISCREDIT HIM
THE PROSECUTORS DON'T HAVE TO LIFT A FINGER TO DISCREDIT BAEZ...HE IS DOING A GREAT JOB ALL BY HIMSELF!:bang::bang::bang:

Yeah, I know, but I really am laughing hard, because

A. they got an ex-FBI guy for the interview (for credibility)
B. the latest PR release is hysterically funny!!!! :D

One conspiracy finally, fully laid to rest and it's irrefutable, but it should be fun to watch some try. Want popcorn?

Why am I not surprised that JB would hire someone with a criminal background, and ex-con, as his PR representative?

Seems like Jose Baez will want to come out and make some sort of statement about "Todd"/Gil C, now, rather than passing it of to Jose Garcia, to respond. Baez is her primary attorney, seems he'd want to address it just for the sake of credibility.....or then maybe not.

Really! LOL But you just wait and see how he tries to discredit Mr. Kronk for having a background, one that was expunged..lol,
and the circus continues....:curtsey:

Thanks! I would love some popcorn about now! The show is just about to get started...

I do hope Blink is enjoying the evening. Kudos, Blinkster wherever you are!

Do I hear a train coming?

Extortion. Nice. Todd Blackmail. LOL. The guy was black mailing someone!

Uh huh. Just like MF, who stated that he hadn't used the "N" word in 10 years, but forgot he said the word when talking to an author writing a crime novel 9 1/2 years before his testimony.

G. Gordon Liddy and J. Dean - both Watergate delinquents - both lovable.

None of these 3 tried to extort anyone.

AND they all go by their REAL names.

Todd Blackmail, what a doozy.

Post of the Day! Priceless, just priceless - he did say he was using a shortened version of his name, didn't he?

Sorry if this has been posted already, just going threw some notes: Here is a site on GC , where he claims his innocence.

http://www.gilcabot.com/
Cons do this all the time, make these "I'm innocent" "I got railroaded" bs websites. They are so outraged that their behavior was questioned, prosecuted and punished. This guy is crazy, no really.
