How do we know there are such photos? I must have missed that.

I believe a local news source reported them when LE searched BSLs property. I dont know if locals OKed the source but I think they did. If I'm wrong my posts can get deleted.

Okay thanks just wondering because I had heard it also but never knew if it came to be.

Found it! Forgive me if my original statements were off.

"The Independent has also learned that police in at least a couple of jurisdictions outside of Lafayette are investigating possible links between Lavergne and unsolved crimes against women. Our sources say that among the items retrieved from Lavergne’s home after his July 5 arrest were bloodied pictures he took of himself and an undisclosed number of women’s IDs."

when did BSL live in oakdale?

I found documents in the St. Landry Parish Courthouse (Opelousas, La.) regarding a Nov. 1999 wreck BSL was in. A couple was turning into their driveway on Prudence Highway, Church Point, when BSL tried to pass and clipped the rear end and side of their car. They sued for injuries. When police tried to serve him papers, they were sent to an address they had for him in Oakdale, La. They came back because he had moved. By the time they found him, he was already in prison in 2000. BTW: he was driving his wife's car at the time and his father was living on Prudence Highway.

Great, Thanks! I knew about the id's but wasn't sure about the photos. I hope they nail him good with those.

Dear Mr. Gary Lavergne, Author:

I am terribly embarressed about believing the rumor that you are related to BSL. I hope that this has not caused too much anguish for you and your family.

For what it is worth, I thank you for the very straightforward account of Mcduff. You covered many interesting angles. I plan to read more from you in the future.

The comparison of bsl and other killers is still valid reasearch in my opinion and I am greatful for your reasearch. I just really wish that this monster had a different name than yours.

(hey, maybe he googles his name or is one of our many guests. Another bound to us by the Angel Mickey)

Just now getting to post on here, so many posts! Just want to say RIP Mickey! I did not know you but you have touched a lot of lives! Sorry your life was cut short! You will always be in my heart and I'm sending many prayers to your friends and family!'n

Thanks. I know he was on a Lake Charles station yesterday. For those who haven't seen it, here is the link.

Just my opinion;
Information on other inmates is analogous to a get out of jail free card.. This is why he didn't answer the yes or no question.

A week or two later BSL sent him a letter stating that he didn't kill the three women..

Why? Because he knew that inmate mail is read by the correction officers. BSL knew they were recording his phone calls & intercepting his mail..
BSL, is not as dumb as some give him credit for..

Another ruse...establishing documentation and doubt of his guilt among investigators..

One of the three women would prolly have been Lisa Pate..

I don't think the letter he wrote means anything. Do you really think that, upon reading his letter, corrections officers would go "Oh, look, this RSO convict says he's innocent of some crimes. Let's quickly forward this to LE so that they don't waste their time on him!"

If BL actually thought that writing something like that would help 'establish doubt of his guilt', I would submit that his letter is evidence of his stupidity, not his intelligence, as nobody with half a brain would think that such a letter would be evidence of innocence.

I think that there is absolutely no evidence to think that BL is intelligent, and most of what has been used as evidence of intelligence could be likewise read as evidence of a disorganized mind.

As has been said many times..not always a reliable news source.

I live in Opelousas, Louisiana and there is a casino here called Evangeline Downs Racetrack and Casino. I frequent a bar there to listen to band s play and hear the local DJ. When I saw his mugshot on tv I was chilled to the bone, because I would see him there quite often. As more details come out I become more creeped out, it's just scary, especially with my younger sister being Mickey's age. Rest in peace angel.

LOL, there you go again, Montjoy..
BSL, was under investigation and suspected for the murder of three women from the Lafayette area. BSL would have known that his outgoing & incoming mail & phone calls would have been monitored.
Why do you think he mailed the answer to a simple yes or no question by his prior cellmate weeks later?

Montjoy, do you really think that his Tier 3 RSO Quarterly Evaluation Officer would buy his ruse/explanation of his stab wounds, poison ivy/mace rash, & BOLO DWT on 05/28/2012?

Do you really think that BSL would have attempted a successful mugging ruse on 05/19/2012, in NOLA, or a stolen/burned DWT in TX on 05/31/2012..etc?..

If not for Mickey Schunick's valiant fight and an aware citizens tip to LPD on 06/14/2012 when BSL attempted to replace the DWT from the insurance claim. Imo, BSL would still be unidentified & preying on innocent victims as we speak..

I agree with you on that if it had not been for the person that called and told the detective everything he knew about BSL I believe BL would still be walking around. Its ashame no one will ever know what a hero he was.

Interesting Ladydeadpool.. Sorry about your traumatic experience. This is why it is important for his photo to be posted in the MS & social Media. Can you share any observations of BSL's demeanor. Are there any missing women from your area?
TIA
