Le tueur de la Préfecture a pu avoir accès à la liste des policiers infiltrés dans les mosquées, révèle le "Canard"

The Prefecture murderer was able to access the list of police officers infiltrating mosques, the "Canard" reveals.

"He had access to everything, to computers, access codes, messengers," several cops raise the alarm about the killer of the Paris police prefecture, Mickaël Harpon, to the "Canard enchainé" that appears this Wednesday, October 9.

The information is very worrying. According to this week's Canard enchainné, printed on Tuesday, October 8, Mickaël Harpon, the killer of the Paris police prefecture, was able to access the list of police officers infiltrated into mosques.

This is stated by an anonymous source at a high level: "Because of his duties, Harpon had access to protected files, including the one containing the identity of the moles. We need to know if he shared them...."

A commander, a former intelligence veteran, is particularly concerned with our colleagues: "If he has been able to access the list of our sources infiltrated into Salaf mosques, we may soon mourn other deaths."

According to Le Parisien, the computer expert of the intelligence department of the police prefecture had stored on a USB key the personal details and data of several dozen of his colleagues. "He had access to everything, computers, access codes, messengers," several cops told the Canard. According to the weekly, the judicial police also found, in the civil servant's telephone directory, two other persons with S files originating, like him, from the West Indies.

"PARIS — When 12 people were killed at the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris in January 2015, Mickaël Harpon — a future killer himself — declared, “serves them right.” A shocked colleague in the city’s Police Department heard him, and a sharp argument ensued.

But that was nearly as far as the complaint went. Colleagues of Mr. Harpon, who slashed four co-workers to death last Thursday, preferred “restraint,” a leaked internal police report said, and their bosses never pressed them. That summer, the police appeared to have had a chance to stave off the computer technician’s attack. They missed it.

Overlooked warning signs are now at the center of fierce recrimination, finger-pointing and calls for increased vigilance in a country that had half-forgotten the terrorist threat from within and that has suddenly reawakened to it."

Deux fonctionnaires de la préfecture de police désarmés pour soupçons de radicalisation

Two officials of the police prefecture disarmed on suspicion of radicalisation

The first, a captain in the Enforcement of Court Decisions Brigade, is the subject of a suspension request. The second, a peacekeeper in the Hauts-de-Seine region, had been dismissed and then reintegrated.

The massacre perpetrated on October 3 by Mickaël Harpon at the police prefecture (PP) created a real shock at the top of the institution, which accelerated a hunt for potential enemies "from within". Two "PP" officials were disarmed on Thursday on suspicion of radicalisation. The first, who is close to forty, is a captain in the Brigade de l'exécution des décisions de justice (BEDJ), which is part of the Paris Judicial Police.

An informed source told Le Figaro that this officer, who is currently on leave, had been reported as early as 2011, after his marriage to a Muslim lawyer. According to Le Parisien who reveals this case, this policeman had then ostracized himself, praying at the office, growing a beard and refusing any contact with women in the name of Islam. Separated from his wife since then, he shaved his beard and seemed to live less self-centered.

Suspected today of being a follower of the "taqiya", i. e. the Islamic technique of concealment to emit only imperceptible signals, this captain is also the subject of an administrative suspension request.

The procedure should be examined by the Director General of the National Police, Éric Morvan, who had not received it on Friday afternoon. "It is a precautionary measure pending the results of an investigation by the General Inspectorate of National Police conducted on him," according to an informed source in Le Figaro, adding that "the time has come for maximum caution and the detection of weak signals at the bottom of the spectrum." But his entourage preferred to report his case, especially since he would have had direct access to the automated national judicial file of perpetrators of terrorist offences (Fijait).

The second unarmed police officer, who is not the subject of a suspension request, is a peacekeeper in Villeneuve-la-Garenne, in the Hauts-de-Seine region. Assigned to the Paris Metropolitan Proximity Security Department (Dspap), he had been in the news after being dismissed from the police force in September 2018.

This thirty-year-old convert to Islam was accused of lending his weapon and badge to a friend of the terrorist who attacked a sentinel force patrol in 2017 in Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine). But this official with very worrying behaviour had appealed to the administrative court and obtained the annulment of the sanction at the beginning of the year. And therefore his reintegration. "This is, again, a precautionary measure," said one police official.

The detection of "black sheep" is one of the priorities of the Ministry of the Interior. "Conducted by a dedicated unit of the General Inspectorate of the National Police and a second within the gendarmerie, it makes it possible to initiate new authorization investigations and its possible automatic withdrawal if the radicalization is confirmed. Then, it is normal for an intelligence service to take charge of the individual...," Laurent Nuñez, Secretary of State for Homeland Security, told the Senate Law Commission on Thursday morning. The Senate Law commission is working to analyse the nature of the shortcomings in the intelligence services after the attack on the police prefecture on 3 October last.

According to a final report, some 20 police officers and about 10 gendarmes were dismissed from their activities on suspicion of radicalization.
Currently using only the tools provided by disciplinary law, Beauvau [ Ministry of the Interior ] has used non-renewal of security assistant contracts, transferred suspicious profiles "outside the police perimeter" and terminated internships. Only six dismissals were carried out.

The attack happened in a blind alley in front of the military barracks.
The attacker was driving a BMW and fled. Both he and the vehicle are missing.

The perp and murderer was previously involved in human trafficking. Great guy to lend your badge and weapon to. How did that police officer ever achieve annulment of his sanction?

[VIDEO] Attentat de la préfecture de Paris : 5 proches du tueur interpellés, dont l'imam fiché S

On Thursday, October 3, an administrative officer of the Paris Police Prefecture killed four police officers and seriously injured another police officer from Montpellier with a kitchen knife, before he was shot dead in the courtyard of the establishment.

The investigation continues after the deadly attack on the Paris prefecture on Thursday, October 3. Five people were arrested by the anti-terrorist subdirectorate (SDAT) and the DGSI, (the general directorate of internal security), on the night of Sunday, October 13 to Monday, October 14, in the Val d'Oise north of Paris, in the entourage of Mickaël Harpon, confirmed to LCI a judicial source.

These arrests and searches took place in Gonesse, Sarcelles and Le Thillay, according to a source close to the AFP investigation.

Ahmed Hilali, former imam of Sarcelles and imam of Gonesse alongside Hassan El Houari, S file, is one of the 5 people arrested.

The man was evicted from the mosque on Friday, October 11. The mayor of the municipality of Gonesse where he officiated said in a statement on Friday: "The Muslim association of Gonesse has negotiated with Mr Ahmed Hilali with whom it is bound by an employment contract a contractual termination. The imam will no longer be in charge of the daily prayers in Gonesse, starting tomorrow."
