GA - Bridget Shiel, 19, found murdered in Atlanta park, 31 May 2016

5th .....WTH nothing , just nothing I hope they are onto something

The car HAD to have prints, and the killers for sure already have records. This was not their first rodeo.

im thinking LE knows who already and is keeping quiet so they turn up.

I'm with you guys and Cvaldez I bet you are right there was that blurb about the lady who says her daughter knows Bridget was killed because she knew too much , and the killers headed north (its already out there ) I suspect they already know (I hope)

I hope they do know and make an arrest soon. This case gets colder by the day and it shouldn't be

:gaah: come on APD. Is anybody familiar with processing times and how long they could take? Her car was found June 1

I don't know about the Atlanta PD, but in the Christina Morris case, I believe the trial was postponed for a few months because they were expecting it to take that long to process some of the evidence for DNA.

A $10k reward and nobody has spoken up and it appears APD haven't identified the two men in the car with her

I hope the lack of news from LE is because things are moving slowly and not because they are not moving at all.

This is the site the photo of the ammunition comes from: http://aattp.org/terrifying-new-bullet-designed-for-maximum-suffering-introducing-the-r-i-p/ It's called the R.I.P. 9mm round from G2 Research. If this was indeed the round used, then it goes without saying that the subject wanted to completely annihilate the victim. This is a brutal, brutal projectile...

Photos of bullets were posted by an ATL journalist but I'm probably not allowed to share them

This cartridge is all about hype and not results. Of all the folks I shoot with none of them would this round for self defense. You'd be better off with Winchester SXT, Remington Golden Saber, Hornady Critical Defense/Duty or other such ammo by such manufacturers as Cor-Bon, Federal or Speer. The R.I.P. round has no controlled expansion. That is to say those ugly points break off not long after initial impact and you're basically left with a flat nose wadcutter with very little expansion. I'd venture to say that whoever was using this round knows very little about handguns and ammunition.
