This also brings the question - if suspect is in his own truck - where is the van???
 
Oh my....my heart is sunk. These people are buried somewhere out there folks, I feel sure...and its making me sick.

What has me infuriated is that obviously GBI knew this guy was a ("the") suspect days ago and probably gave him some freedom hoping he would lead him to the Runions...or to some information that would take them to the Runions....
But he got away from them?
WHAT?! How can this be?
Of all the things on earth? How could the primary suspect get away?
This truly makes me want to scream.....

I am so sad for Bud and June's girls and their grandchildren. I'm so sorry. I don't think this is going to end well at all.
Prayers for all.
 
Hmmmm....surely LE would have / would be searching this property?
(OMG, really having DM and Tim Bosma flashbacks now).

Gina, I think RT spoke to Bud on one or more occasions, and could probably guess his age, from his voice and or things he said. Also, many people in their sixties, have the desire to own a classic car, my DH was one of them. It is nostalgic, and takes them back to the time when they were younger.

Are there any swampy areas out there, particularly around that property? I'm thinking its in the woods, in a swamp, or in a shed/barn of some sort...?

Jumping off of your comment. You're right, how would he know? Not saying that the Runions couldn't hold their own against one twenty-eight year-old guy, but... what if it wasn't just Jay? Jay plus one or two others could easily overwhelm them, right? What stands out to me at the moment is that the suspect has vanished just as the Runions have, and if he was with another person(s) when whatever happened, happened, then was initially questioned by LE, maybe the other person(s) got rid of him, too?

It's late and my imagination is working overtime, but anything is possible at this point.
 
Huge risk IMO for anyone to try to rob someone because you don't have any idea who else is carrying a gun!! Wouldn't be a chance I'd take!!! But, we see so many cases on here that it just ceases to surprise me what people will do.
 
Lots of swampland in that area. While it's north of the Okefenokee, this part of GA, particularly around the rivers is very densely wooded. Right now, after the rains over the past few weeks, all the rivers are swollen and many of the trails into the woods are flooded.

C'mon guys! What else can we find about this suspect? Snapchat? Twitter? Gmail? Facebook? Youtube? Online forum...there's got to be something on him out there...

I google streetviewed the road the property is on - well, I google streetviewed the entrance to the road as the road itself wasn't streeview mapped - and it's a dirt road. It's a shame it then rained and likely washed away any tire tracks that could have been left if the Runions' vehicle visited the property. It doesn't look like it's be a very highly traveled road considering it's remote location.

Bud placed a "wanted" ad on CL for a Mustang. I thought maybe in his ad he might have mentioned he was looking for a car like he had in high school, but apparently not. In case the ad hasn't been posted:

Yes the ad was short and generic. There was nothing to give away anything of Bud's age. For the perp to have used a burner phone in anticipation of his crime he had to have tested the waters with a few other posters to scope out the most rob-able. Or he wasn't working alone and wasn't worried about not being able to overpower anybody as he had some friends to help him out.
