10/4/18 Update: Plead not guilty. Has 2 cases on court site. Arraignment case# 18903146. Case# 17904080 says trial starts 10/15 to 22.
10/4/18 Update #2: Case# 18903146 – Motions hearing on 12/17.
11/25/18 Update: Both Cases: Court hearings were changed to hearing on 11/29 & 12/3. No hearing on 12/17.

Case of missing Iraq War vet from Cobb ends with conviction

James Bradshaw Clement was sentenced Monday in the death of Iraq War veteran Massner, whose remains were found in 2017 behind a Kennesaw home where Clement used to live.

The 33-year-old was sentenced to eight years in prison and seven years on probation after pleading guilty to one count of concealing the death of another and one count of making a false statement, the Cobb district attorney’s office said in a news release.

The woman who had the two dogs (Draco and Chance) that alerted to where Chase was found ( she is identified in MSM, and in many posts here, as Tracy Trace Sargent .. and she is on FB) has just posted about this case. She is saying that this case will be showcased on Nancy Grace's show Injustice later this year.

I don't believe due to TOS I can copy paste her rather long post on FB... but you can search her name and read more. To summary within TOS, she is speaking to the case, how it happened, and is posting it due to the challenge that is going around on FB "Dog Challenge" photos (Where you post 10 days of your dogs). She speaks of how when the news reports that the dogs indicated at the house, perp took off... well, y'all know the rest of the story.

Tracy “Trace” Sargent is wonderful. So thankful for Trace, Chance and Draco finding Chase. Please do read her post on fb. 3.5 years searching for him. Team Chase is thankful to Leigh Egan with Crimeonline who picked up Chases story and all she did to help find Chase. These two ladies along with Nancy Grace and Daniel Wilkerson formally of CBS46 ATL - brought Chase home. There is a YouTube video of Traces post showing the dogs actually “alerting” to Chases remains. It’s a must watch if you have time.
