I just noticed that the article on the Daily-Tribune removed the reference to the motel being described as a "crack motel". It was referenced as this by one of the searchers in the previous version of the article.

Sept 17-Sept 18 –Heather at possible weekend getaway with friend in Acworth (according to husband)**

Sept 18, 2016 (Morning) Heather last seen leaving the house of “a different friend”**

Sept 18, 2016 –Last known communication w/Heather-told family she was staying w/friend**

Sept 19, 2016 (morning) Heather left home to stay with an old friend (according to husband)**

Sept 19, 2016 (around noon) Heather called husband and had brief convo (according to husband)**

Sept 19, 2016 (no time specified) Heather seen at the Courtesy Inn on Hwy 411 (according to police)

Sept 19, 2016 --9:30 PM* Police find Heather's rental car, a red Jeep Wrangler, found at Courtesy Inn on Hwy 411, no sign of Heather (according to Police press release) Car found w/door open, keys on ground, belongings inside (according to her cousin)

Sept 20, 2016 –Rooms at the Courtesy Inn were searched by Police (according to HYSH FB)

Sept 20, 2016*** –Two reports of Heather argue with 2 men surfaced but the witnesses were not considered credible/reliable

Sept 21, 2016-- Have You Seen Heather? Facebook (HYSH FB) page created

Sept 23, 2016-- page is set up to raise funds for search/reward (HYSH FB)

Sept 23, 2016 –Detective searched CCTV footage from area (according to HYSH FB)

Sept 25, 2016 –A search was conducted in the woods behind Courtesy Inn (according to family)

Sept 25, 2016 –Family went door-to-door to hand out flyers in Cartersville (according to family)

Sept 26, 2016 –Family searched hotel, knocked on doors in hotel and handed out flyers in area (according to family)

Sept 26, 2016 --A housekeeper at the hotel told family she saw Heather arguing w/two black males (according to cousin)

Sept. 27, 2016 --5 p.m. Volunteer searchers asked to meet at Goodwill at 929 Joe Frank Harris Parkway (media/HYSH FB)

Sept 28, 2016 –WSB-TV Atlanta reported that Heather’s cousin heard from 2 witnesses that she was seen arguing with 3 men in the hotel parking lot***

Sept 28, 2016-- 6:19 PM there are now 2 investigators working on her case (according to HYSH FB)

Sept 29, 2016 --$2500 reward offered for info

*Note: There is a discrepancy on when the car was found. At least one news source said it was found at 9:30 AM. Another source which quoted the police press release said 9:30 PM. I went with the time from the police report. Most articles say it was found in the evening on Monday Sept 19th.

**Note: Some news stories said the last known contact with Heather was Sept 18[SUP]th[/SUP]. Another story quoted her husband as saying she left home on Sept 19[SUP]th[/SUP] and called him on Sept 19[SUP]th[/SUP] around noon to say she was staying with a friend. To add to the confusion we have a story about Heather going away for a "weekend getaway" at a friend's house that seems to have happened Sept 17-18. No dates are given for this getaway but the weekend prior to the day her car was found makes the most logical sense. Consider Sept 17-Sept 18 as a place holder until we find out more details.

***Note: The exact day these reports surfaced is not very clear. The source is Heather’s cousin who said reports were “the next day” while talking about finding the car and also talking about a search of the hotel that took place either Sept 25 or Sept 26. I'm trying to figure out where I parked and where the dumpster is? It was in the back and there was parking right up next to the rooms and driving area and parking up next to a solid fence with dog walk sprayed on it. I don't remember the dumpster unless it was right in my face and it could have been.

There are train tracks behind the hotel/motel/inn.

You can see from the timeline why it is so confusing. The day and time of the last report of seeing Heather/talking to Heather changes from news story to news story. As does the story about just where she was. There is also confusion about when she was at a friends and when she left home. The timeline almost makes it seem as if she left home for a weekend getaway, came back on the morning of Sept 19th then announced again she was leaving to stay with "a different friend" Sept 19th. This is the only interpretation I can come up with that makes sense given all the news versions of the story. It is possible that the news just got the day she left home wrong in a few stories but most of these are pulled as quotes from interviews with her husband and other family members. They are either mixing up days or only telling bits and pieces of a story and it's getting all jumbled by the press.
This is just speculation: I'm left with the impression that:
1. she left for a weekend with one friend
2. was seen leaving someone else's house
3. went home to see her husband
4. was confronted about her being at "a different friend's" house
5. they argue and she leaves again OR something else happens to her
6. Her car ends up at the motel
Again, just a theory. The husband insists she left "peaceful" and they had not argued. :thinking:

It is strange all these friends she was with and we havent heard from any of them- it would be helpful to have "friend" say how she was while together, this all seems fishy...
 
I want police to verify that there is a documented/security video sighting of her after 9/17. She was on a getaway, where are all the cell phone pics? Snap chats? Instagrams? Anything???
At the very least they know where the jeep traveled from the 17th- 19th. Not to say she didn't park it and ride with someone else.
what girls get together for a weekend and none of them start posting selfies?
Typically in missing person cases they release video of the last known sightings, why haven't they done that in this case? I get that she may have lied about what she was really up to. So there may be where the problem is.
Where is Heather???

You know if that NICE of a vehicle stayed at the courtesy for more than a day even if that it would have been stripped clean much less 2 days with keys beside it and I'm positive that if someone Even remotely wanted to steal off of it I can guarantee those keys would not be on the ground

They would think it was a set up for sure! Maybe they did look in there. How do we know of anything was taken? She was like 5 foot 100# ot is possible no one there could even wear her clothes.
