Search continues for former Albany city commissioner (video)

Reportedly, the family says before Hill left the house at 3:45 a.m. on foot, he woke up his 15-year-old daughter to tell her he was leaving and he was gone before she was able to stop him.

Family friend SJ says Hill is very active in the community and has a lot of family and friends there and has devoted his life to the city of Albany, working in various forms of government.

Terrible news! :(

This morning, a body was recovered near the Georgia Power dam.

Albany coroner, Michael Fowler has confirmed that the body recovered near the dam was former Albany commissioner, Kenderson Hill.

Hill’s body was sent to the GBI’s crime lab for an autopsy which will take place Wednesday morning. The cause of death has not been confirmed, and officials were not able to say whether or not foul play was suspected.
