Now that I have recovered from my laughing fit, I must say I am very concerned LaTania Janell has not been found and he has. I pray she is hidden somewhere and it is nothing worse.
 
Wait. Who was he stalking? This is the second time he has been seen and she was not with him. She's not hiding. I feel pretty confident. What in the WORLD is going on with this???? I think he had previous stalking charges, right?

I really don't believe that HE is a killer. I might be wrong. But I don't think he took her to kill her. I think he wanted to have some time alone with her etc, but I think he groomed her well and she went willingly, at first.

But now that he is in custody, I am so frightened for her. Who did he give her to? Or worse, sell her to....
 
Not too much new in this article and actually contains incorrect info on the charge Leon is facing. There is this, however.

The family's neighbor of three years, Thales Elliot, says early Monday morning the mother was evicted from her home.

"I was very sad. I couldn't believe that. I couldn't believe that," said Elliot.

Televisions, mattresses and clothes lay abandoned, littering the yard where Janell was last seen.

"I fear the worst, because it's been too long since anybody seen her or heard from her," said Elliot.

As investigators get closer to an answer family and close friends hope things aren't as they appear.

Sadly, those are the best possible scenarios at this point, IMO.

I have been so frustrated with this case from the beginning, and now I am also angry - and very afraid for LaTania.

So many so-called adults have failed this beautiful young woman. This dangerous, violent felon should have never been allowed to walk the streets again -let alone anywhere near young girls- after what he had already done. Clearly, he has no respect for the law or for women. As for LaTania's mom, I don't even know what to say.

I pray that LaTania is alive, and has a chance to live the life she is meant to live. Keeping her little sister in my thoughts and prayers also.

My apologies ... rant over.

"During the investigation, it was revealed that Tanya Faye Tripp (the biological mother of missing teen Latania Carwell) was in contact with Leon Tripp and had recently moved to the Atlanta area to be with Leon Tripp.

Tanya has now been arrested for Hindering the Apprehension of a Criminal."

Well, whadayouknow, mpnola, mum is also a . They can have each other, and talking through their brand spanking new clean stainless steel toilets is their new phones, awwww, how sweet and romantic.

Poor Janell, she never had a chance and this makes me so sick. I just knew there was something up and fishy about her and never believed the story, not even for a minute. I would love to pay her a special visit in the pokey.

What has happened to the younger sister? I wish I could take her and give her the love and attention she so deserves.
