For what it’s worth…MOO observations from reading others’ posts that have resonated with me.
1. Police have evidence from in the house, enough for them to presume he’s dead. IMO this excludes drowning or choking from being likely.
2. Police have video evidence to name Leilani as their only suspect. In combination with #1, IMO this excludes any speculation of further thoughts that he’s still alive or that she sold him or whatever.
3. We have to keep in mind this is IMO clearly a dysfunctional family, they aren’t going to behave and react how must of us do—especially if drugs are heavily involved. IMO most likely he died of abuse. I’m staking all my hope on him being found so she can be put away for good. I pray that the other kids never come back so that they have some hope of a better life. Also that the brother wakes up and doesn’t follow in his siblings’ footsteps.

#2. My hunch is there is video of her putting something in a trash can or dumpster. :(

I'm also thinking that since the BF hit the road so quickly that he is staying away because he has separated himself from LS as advised. JMO but he knows all and will most likely be a major witness when charges are filed.
I’d like to know if the BF is still her BF. I’d also like to know if the texts sent from his phone about Q the morning he went missing were sent by him. Because it wouldn’t surprise me if LS set him up as the last person to see Q unbeknownst to him. JMO

I think if they wanted to be rid of Q they could have given him to bio Dad.

It makes more sense to me that he died from negligence or a punishment that went too far. JMO
Yes, I agree. I think something, whatever it was, went too far.
I'm reminded so much of Elaina Steinfurth. She was thrown against a wall, by her mother, and then on a bed where she remained until the next day. Realizing she was seriously injured the mother's boyfriend restricted her breathing with his hands and then they hid her in a box in the garage. She was 19 months old.
I think something similar happened. JMO

I wonder if the protestors have considered doing something....valuable with their time? Like I don't know.. volunteering? The only way to prevent these kinds of tragedies is for more eyes, and more love to be on those kids. Sitting in a chair, screaming at someone who doesn't care isn't going to do anything.

Go become a big brother/big sister, go volunteer at a supervised visiting centre, or check in on your neighbour who is a single parent. Don't sit in your chair and throw a tantrum because things don't move as fast as you want them to. Ugh. I am so so mad at the uselessness of this.

I don't understand what the protestors think will happen if they continue to do this. Just like the West case when two boys went missing in Bakersfield, it will accomplish nothing.

Do they think someone will come out and tell them everything they know?

If each of them became a Court Appointed Special Advocate, they could support children in relative & foster placements and maybe, just maybe, Quinton would be the last child we discuss???

Please don't wake me from this dream, y'hear?

I noticed that both of the babysitter's stories about Quinton getting out of the house recently included his brother:

McCarta, who had been watching Simon’s three children for about nine months before Quinton’s disappearance, said her 16-year-old daughter found Quinton and [brother] alone in the family’s full-size backyard pool over the summer. The children cannot swim.
...
The pool incident was not the only time the toddlers had wandered off. A month ago, McCarta said she found Quinton and [brother] playing alone in a ditch two feet from the busy roadway in front of Simon’s home.

So the pattern seemed to be that Quinton would leave the house with his brother while Leilani allegedly slept. Would he leave by himself? Would his brother go out with him then go back to the house alone? If Quinton went underwater in the pool would the brother go wake up his mother?

IME little brothers and sister tend to follow their older siblings around but it may not have been the case with Quinton and his brother. I dunno, I guess it's just another little seed of doubt. I wish something would move in the case.
Hopefully, sitter will just stop so that Z doesn’t grow up with this on his shoulders.

I agree with other who think protesters are doing it for attention. but people like this who get out there and act all crazy for no good reason don’t need to be volunteering with at risk youth. More crazy is not what at risk kids need, they need stable, responsible care. Maybe they could go volunteer at a soup kitchen or animal shelter and free some of those people up to volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, as a GAL or with CASA.

You are most definitely correct, I just wish if people truly cared about these kids that they would think about the positives they could do to save another. But then I guess thats the rub, they don't really care. :(
