Closings will be 1hr. for each side. Judge has matters to handle outside the presence of the jury. He is going to dismiss them for a while.

Wow! It sounds like the closing arguments will be this afternoon! Good! I have an appointment at 11:15 tomorrow.

Are you surprised? I can't decide if I am or not.
They must think the small headway those wits may have made isn't worth it.

I guess not, considering the prosecution barely did any cross on any of the witnesses. I suppose the defense witnesses were so weak, there really isn't anything to rebut. :twocents:

1:00, 1:00, 1:00, 1:00, 1:00, 1:00

I believe he told the jury to be back at 1:00! :giggle:

State will have closing arguements first and last, right? These states all have such different rules, I can't keep track.

I recall corroboration! Defense must be hard of hearing or selective memory! In reference to "only" Don Sneiderman saying AS told him of Rusty being shot before getting to hospital.

Why does the def continue to omit the TEXT she wrote a co-worker and Shyana. BOTH were told along with Don S before she should have known.
DUH def.

Somehow, it's morphed into her telling Don Sneiderman prior to going to Dunwoody Prep. Defense was claiming no corroboration to that.

The other 2 communications, if not more refer to the period of time after Dunwoody Prep and the hospital.

They did have one very weak, hearsay testimony witness that Andrea was told that Rusty had been shot while at Dunwoody Prep.

I finally figured it all out just now!

:moo:

Besides looking pizz'd, AS looks nervous ... :jail:

:moo:

I just have to say that I feel bad for the Sneiderman children. The innocent children who lost their father will most likely now lose their mother for a while.

Very sad.

Why does this lawyer always look like he slept in his suit? Iron the freakin jacket man!

Not only THAT.....what makes me crazy is the suits are sooooo baggy and ill-fitted. Frumpiest lawyer I ever saw. This guys suits have made me nuts since day one. OK rant over. Feel better.

In closing arguments, I hope, hope, hope the prosecution devotes adequate time to the GAS LEAK!! Am I the only one who thinks this wasn't stressed enough?

Although she might not have star quality, this lady lawyer on 11 alive is right on target with her commentary -- maybe HLN or some other trials news programs should take notice -- she reminds me of Beth K.

I have never felt so confident in a DA team as this one -- their crosses were excellent and took a good bite out of the defense witnesses -- finally not much anxiety on this one!

I don't think it will take the jury very long to reach a verdict. They have to be tired of AS and her lawyers tactics.

MOO

Keeping Andrea off the stand may be the most effective thing the defense lawyers have done for her thus far.

Wonder if Andrea will fall to the floor right there in the courtroom when the guilty verdict is read?

I was ready for some AndreaDrama. Prosecution needs to reshow that video of Andrea -not knowing what had happened - walking across the Daycare Center parking lot with the cop. That video alone is just SO telling.
