I take solace in the knowledge that his fellow inmates will be highly amused at his Googling of prison survival tips...
And they'll be highly enraged at a child killer with two life insurance policies on his baby boy.
He's going to have to watch his back. JMO, based on my experience internship at Chicagoland jails.

Via Kindle, like a true Amazon junkie

Well this hearing has convinced me he is a cold blooded sociopath who intended to kill his child.

Such people do exist in this world, and it's a deep mystery how they could do these things.

The mystery of evil...

I had a work emergency come up at 2 and missed everything from the point of the sexting onward when I had to close my feed. Can anyone give me a short summary? I know it will all be on tv when I get home, but I don't think I can wait.

ETA..no worries...Y'all are so detailed on the other thread. I feel sick. :(

I am dumbfounded really, I could not have imagined something this bad. Nothing this bad.

I have to see it to place guilt on someone, Now I do.

I'm just getting to my computer. I missed the hearing!!! Is there somewhere I can watch the hearing or can someone give me the highlights? TIA!

Oh! Disregard my comment. I see there is a separate thread for the hearing. I'll read through that.

I missed EVERYTHING. Summer with 3 kids limits my WS time. I'm so so sorry for what seems to have been released. I find splice in the fact it appears there's a strong case. RIP baby Cooper :(

It's nice too when a murder defendant admits to not having a conscience!!!!!

It is still going on.
And it is bad.

I can not believe anyone support would them.. Was she in the court room?

I knew it was going to be bad, but the underage sex angle really shocked me! Everything else I already assumed! I knew he was guilty the first story I read about the case when I saw how close together all the locations were and how it was dad's normal routine.

I sent Det. Stoddard a fan email telling him how awesome his testimony was, and copied his boss too (happened to have the email for the boss after I sent hate mail to the boss over a dog getting shot to death in Cobb County).

That officer/detective whatever he is called was AWESOME!

Also have to say the defense attorney was awesome too, he did the best he could considering the situation.

In my wildest dreams I didn't imagine anything like the stuff that came out at that hearing. I didn't think it was possible to be so shocked.

Meanwhile, when the boy's mother, Leanna Harris, arrived at a day care center to pick the boy up, employees there told her Cooper had never been dropped off, the detective said.

"Ross must have left him in the car," she replied, according to Stoddard. Witnesses said they tried to tell her many other things could have happened, but Leanna Harris insisted that Ross Harris must have left him in the car, Stoddard said.

How did she know?

Bringing this over from the hearing thread.

BBM

Exactly - how did she know?

Why would her mind have instantly gone to that scenario, unless RH had done that in the past, or unless there's more to this than meets the eye.

With everything we learned today from the hearing testimony regarding LH's actions/reactions, I'm viewing the mother's behavior with suspicion, as I'm sure LE has been during their investigation.

Keep digging, CCPD - keep digging!

Fell off my fence at about 1:31.

Who would think people would be this hideous.

I'm with you.... I had been giving him the benefit of the doubt right up until today. I just can't believe someone could purposely do this to ANY human being let alone their own child!!!!

I don't know what all the dad was up to. I wonder how much Cooper was able to talk and if that could have been part of it along with the insurance $.

Who called the Judge a SOB? Ross's mom, or Cooper's mom??? TIA!

I was thinking this morning, I wonder how many of the "sympathizers" in his church and other like them who call for "forgiveness" and "compassion" for the parents in cases like this, realize that they probably have contributed to the deaths of several children by perpetuating this attitude instead of one of zero tolerance.

Another great policy...zero tolerance

Raise the bar on parental accountability and lower the bar on sympathy. Right, Chewy?

That officer/detective whatever he is called was AWESOME!

Also have to say the defense attorney was awesome too, he did the best he could considering the situation.

Someone needs to send him key points, he didn't know he was deaf
