You know what they say about the “last” person to see a now missing person.

I originally thought that Tina left quickly because that phone call was troubling/threatening maybe, but not now.

She went to meet him in a hurry and she appears to have gone willingly. She doesn’t appear stressed or upset while in the convenience store. She wanted to go.

I wonder if they ALWAYS met at the Walmart and then drove to BF house? I’d like to know if this was a habit.

Why the meet up at Walmart? If it wasn’t a common thing for them to do then this was the first phase of setting up a story to lead LE in a different direction. However, that didn’t work.

I am sure LE has Tina’s phone records. That turned up the meet up guy’s number and then the story starts to evolve.

LE is waiting on date guy’s records so they can go back and track his movements. LE would need probable cause and produce a warrant. LE is stuck right now waiting on that.

Date Guy got found quickly and had to admit that Tina was in his home because he knows he’s in the hot seat. He knows they will search his home and find evidence of Tina in that location. He had to give that to LE.

He’s cooperating now but I believe he will lawyer up VERY soon. If he doesn’t, he should.

I suspect a love triangle.

I'm not getting a vibe that this lady is in danger. I think the male she was with was in cahoots with her for some reason. But not for nefarious reasons.

I'm thinking about situations that would either prove embarrassing or concerning if you were a 46 year old single mother who is also a newly minted grandmother, who is in a relationship with a person who may or may not be someone you want to have a long term relationship with.

We know she was at the convenience store at 20.51hrs. If she was at this 'Hwy 24 house' (according to LE) at 22.00hrs.... then where was she for just over an hour?
Sitting in the Walmart parking lot? Waiting for him? Already with him?

Why not drive straight to the house on Hwy 24 from the restaurant? Wait there, if need be.
Also, why the need to meet at Walmart first, if at all??

And why leave the car there? Did he want her to be semi-stranded at his place, making her less likely to flee?

Maybe her on again off again didn't want her car to be seen at his house for some reason?

It really makes no sense. If he drives her there, then he has to drive her back to her car, which seems inconvenient, and she's stuck there if they have an argument, which they apparently did.

I was thinking the same. This man could have planned this ahead of time - meeting where there's no cameras. She got into his car. He left with her.
(I think if they were going to spend uhh time together, she would have driven to his house or he to hers.)

When I put Doolittle Pond into Google Earth, I can see several (what appears as) driveways or roadways coming from Hwy 24 W, but seemingly ‘disappearing’ into the trees.
So I took a look w/ street view.
The roadway right in front of Doolittle Pond looks to be some type of private road; you can see a locked gate w/ some type of sign posted on it.
If you continue down the Highway, there is a steady interval of turn-offs but none of these appear to be roads, driveways, or paths. They appear to just stop several yards in.

•So none of those seem to lead to a house
•They don’t seem to lead to that particular pond (except possibly the gated one)

Im curious to where this house is located and the distance in relation to the particular pond.

I’m pretty notorious to leave my car and just ride with a larger group to places. To me, it makes no sense to bring 2 empty cars to the same place, it’s not environmentally friendly and it means both cars are wasting gas.

Now, to spend the night with a significant other? No, I would either have the person pick me up at my house or just drive there so I could leave whenever I woke up.

I’m under the impression that they have been looking for a body almost from the beginning.

It came from this:

It has never been revealed who this source is or indeed who the second hand information came from.

You could be right and I'm gravely wrong, but I disagree with what we are seeing in this case.

LE doesn't put birds in the air, search ponds, call in the GBI & FBI within 48 hours, on a lark. I also think LE has a strong indication she is no longer alive, MOO.

All of this may be true about an illicit romance of some sort, but I still think she is in danger. I haven’t heard one thing that makes me think she was planning on disappearing. She went to set up her classroom, she was supposed to teach summer school, she abruptly left supper with her family after a call, she left her car at the Walmart.
Leaving her car at the Walmart to me cuts out she wanted to leave for some R & R, unless on/off guy was going to drive her to the airport. Everything else seems to point to her having things planned out at least for the summer.
Now knowing she went to a house and “disappeared” some time in the night sure doesn’t sound good. Unless she truly did leave after a fight, tried to walk back to her car and was taken by someone else on the way, I think the answers lie in that house.

I think they need to go back and look at the guy who said she was mysteriously missing when he woke up.

I don't see her just walking away, alone, without communicating w/anyone. There was no need to do so, IMO.

The easiest way is to get to the search page for the tax assessor and go to the map. Find the parcel with Doolittle Pond and click on it. It gives the owner’s name etc.
I don’t know if that really helps with this case in any way.
