Another brother of the man accused of killing 22-year-old Augusta University nursing student Laken Riley is in custody at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in south Georgia.

During a hearing on Thursday for suspect Jose Ibarra’s brother Diego Ibarra, prosecutors also mentioned that another brother, 24-year-old Argenis Ibarra, was apparently in the country illegally.

Aregnis is being held at the Stewart Detention Center, an ICE facility in Lumpkin.

ATHENS, Ga. — Attorneys representing Jose Antonio Ibarra, the man accused of murdering Laken Riley while on campus at the University of Georgia in Athens in February, have filed to have evidence suppressed, witnesses barred from testifying and to have the trial moved to a new location.
