William Linn McCue, 47, and Carina Wisniewski McCue, 38, were indicted Wednesday for charges including felony murder, show online records out of Gwinnett County, Georgia.

Authorities previously said Zoe’s 15-year-old brother set fire to the family home in the city of Loganville early on April 17, Easter Sunday. He made his way to a church in nearby Rockdale County, where he confessed to the arson, police said. The teenager faces charges including murder, but the ensuing investigation allegedly turned up evidence of other crimes involving their parents.

The indictment states that McCues had locked Zoe in the room, thereby causing her death when her brother set the fire.

The case against Zoe’s brother remains ongoing. The other other children were taken into state custody, authorities have said.

(much more at link about the level of abuse all the children suffered. It is my hope that Zoe's brother will receive the support and help he needs. I understand the case against him is still ongoing. I am not sure how I feel about that. I only know this whole case makes my heart hurt.)

What a sad, sad situation. At least the surviving children are out of that situation. I wonder how much they know about the 10 y/o who died in the fire and the son who apparently started it.

It just never stops, does it?

I can't find court times right now but they are listed as inmates at the Gwinnett County Jail. You can search for them here...
Well, nothing in the news since the parents' arrest, and I don't have access to the court records. I hope we can keep track of this case going forward.

no hearings shown o the docket for William - the last one took place on 10/27/22 and was his arraignment
Carina's last hearing was 1/10/23 and had to do with a substitution of counsel, her docket also shows no next hearing date.
neither docket shows dispositions of the hearings previously held

not terribly helpful :(

Looks like last action in case was November 2023 when there was an attempt to “sever counts” (does this mean sever his charges from his wife’s?). Then in January 2024 there is something listed as “leave of absence” which I am guessing could refer to the judge…?
