Hello all!

This thread was created to help with the craziness as the events quickly unfolded when the five were arrested. We now have individual threads to handle the aftermath of information. I'm going to close this thread pretty soon.

I have the ability to move your posts to other threads if you'd like. Contact me if you'd like a post moved to it's appropriate thread for further discussion.

Where do you think misty got money to buy large quantities of drugs. We are talking many thousands of dollars here.

.....Who do we know that has access to thousands of dollars.....hmmm.

....She is the mule....er...at least started out as one. We all know rc has been dealing drugs for at least eight years. He started small but after he got his windfall, thanks to donations and TV appearances, he could increase his warehouse supply.

The arrest of Ron, Misty, Hank, Jr. cousin Holly and Road Rage Partner, Donna is something we have all waited for in the case. Many of us believe these charges, which can result in long, long prison terms, could led to a break into the who, what, where of Haliegh's disappearance.
So, who do you think will be the first to raise their hand and agree to a plea deal thereby trading down drug charges in exchange for helping on the Haleigh case?

Ron? - I think he'll stick to his "I was at werk" excuse. Remember his motto "No one can judge me but God." He's not brave, just dense and doesn't get it.

Misty - She's very afraid to tell the truth. I am not sure why. But I believe she does know what happened and by telling what she does know she will involved other people we haven't even heard of yet. This could be what scares her. No, Misty isn't budging.

Donna - What does she really know? I doubt she got much when she became best buds with Misty. She may attempt to try for a deal but LE knows she's not the best source.

Holly - No way. She is not in the loop. She may know bits and pieces but what she does know is only rumors.

Hank, Jr. - Bingo! I believe he will be the weakest link. I think his sister confided in him or he even had a part in the cover-up in the aftermath of what happened to Haleigh. But I believe he knows enough to bargain for lesser charges. I think his wife, who probably knows very little, will get him to tell all.
I may be way off on my prediction. Time will tell.

Misty is going to be one tough cookie.

Tommy....depends on if he helped dispose...He is between a rock and a hard place. For some reason, I just don't get a good sense of him hooked on these type drugs. Maybe it was recent but he doesn't strike me as a long termer on the pain pills. His wife is lying though, as I heard her say she had no idea about any of the people in the house using drugs. This girl sounds so sweet....not going to let her sweetiness get to me though.

This all boils down to who is goiing to tell on rc and misty. They oughta haul in TN and GMA. Funny how TN knew about OXY because she prescribed it...

Okay.

I'll leave it open for GENERAL discussion. What I mean is that if you want to discuss the five arrested as a whole. Remember there are threads for each arrest as an individual, Jr's custody battle, posting bail, etc.

We've been blessed with a multitude of excellent sleuthers here and I just want to make sure that if someone is sleuthing information on Donna B it doesn't get lost in a general thread, for example.

This thread will be closed at some point, but I'll leave it open for now.

I second that request. It is very difficult to jump from one to another to another five times just to discuss one item of discussion that involves all five. It is very difficult to switch every second. Can't we have a general discussion thread to cover miscellaneous topics related to the same thread: Haleigh?

Thanks for the information. Those are scary numbers. I am amazed it is still prescribed as often as it is.

?? about withdrawal from oxy- what happens? Do they sleep a lot? Do they become agitated and aggressive?? Do they become depressed?? I know cocaine withdrawal can cause suicidal thoughts. Anything like that with oxy withdrawal?

Sorry I was away from the computer after I posted. Well I am sure depression is part of it, but you become physically ill. My son was doing it a week (not legally) and he spent 4 days in bed, cramped up, getting sick when there was nothing left to get sick on, it was stomach acid. On day 4 I had enough I didn't know at the time it was from the Oxy, I did know it was from some street drug but wasn't sure what, I took him to the doctors and they gave him a shot to make him stop getting sick. I thought he was going to died he looked so bad. That was only from using it a week, I can't imagine how long it would take with a long time user, but they do say after awhile the Oxy user will just use enough to keep them from going through the withdraw. It is highly addictive and doctors (not all, but some) hand it out like candy.

We have some of Ron's family, himself and his mother, TN included who use prescription pain medication. We also know that Hank Sr. uses prescription pain medication. He has accused Ron of giving him a pill that, in his words, nearly killed him. Later he retracted his accusations. IMO, he was probably afraid that he would lose his supply if he kept running his mouth. Then we have TN admitting that she has and has used prescription pain medication. Then by help of Ron's attorney, statements confirming that Ron has prescription pain medication. Now we have Lindsey claiming that she has no idea that her own inlaws, living with her, were using prescription pain medication, I say yeah, right on that one. I'm curious as to what physician is prescribing those medications. There have been several physicians in my area lone in the last couple of years charged with writing fraudulent prescriptions, aiding drug trafficing on a major scale. We know that Donna took Misty to the dentist that she works for for dental work and that Misty came away with a prescription for pain medication. Is this dentist suspect? I think he deserves to be investigated at this time. You would probably be surprised to learn how many physicians are in the drug trafficing business today. I'll be curious to see if any of them surface during this case.

Do you think that Ron would lie like hell and try to throw one of the others under the bus? I do. He has already spoken out of both sides of his mouth. Backing Misty 100% then telling Tim that the bed was not slept in. Pushing Misty to take the poly, Voice Analysis and the hypno. He did not volunteer to do this himself. I fully expect him to try and throw somone else under the bus.

I believe that Donna will offer all she knows or thinks that she knows just to get whatever relief she can on a deal. I don't think she knows much at all.

I think Ron will be, well, Ron and try to victimize himself and state the same ole, same ole, You are correct, he will say "I was at werk".

Misty is waiting to see who is talking first. She is definitely afraid to speak except to throw Tommy under the bus. She has already offered that, nothing new unless she offers new information. If Ron tries to throw her under the bus she may break, but LE will have to prove that he is.

Tommy, yes. He has a family to lose if he tries to protect Misty. I think Lindsey will persuade him to offer up what he knows so that he doesn't lose his family. I think he is also afraid of alienating his parents, but hey, every man for himself. Lisa Croslin has shown that she thinks Misty knows more and has appeared to be on her son's side more so than her daughter's. Hank on the other hand seems to worry more about pi**ing off Misty, or maybe he is afraid he will screw up his supply of pain medication if Misty is riled.

I personally think that if TN or GGMS think that they can throw someone besides Ron under the bus they will combine their efforts and go to LE to tell a story that will help Ron.

I'm not very proficient at pulling up arrest records but do you know if Hank Sr. or Tommy or Lisa have been in arrested for drugs before recently? Or Timmy for that matter.

Well I am beginning to see a pattern here that many of us believed to always be the reason. DRUGS .....And, I also believe that we will understand more about why the cover-up was so extreme. They say more arrests are coming this case may just come all together soon. I certainly pray so.

As an ex-addict of morphine/oxy's i can tell u the withdrawls or "being dope sick" is the worst of the worst. sweating, cramping, insomnia (the worst part as far as i can tell u) literally feeling like you are climbing the walls, suicidal, hot/cold chills, vomiting, diarrhea, you ache everywhere even going to the bathroom or showering is a huge task. i would never wish it on my worst enemy. hope that puts it in perspective :twocents:

Hank (Misty's dad) was arrested for doctor shopping recently. Tommy's last scrape with the law was a domestic on Lindsey, stealing a beer from the kangaroo and the only one he was actually charged with I believe (scanettes would know better!) was the bus stop incident.

If Lindsey can be connected at all with the drug charges her future work as a nurse is history. She really needs to take the children and leave as soon as possible. She is about the only hope these children have. I think Tommy was pulled into this circus too. I don't think he is a very strong person to begin with. He appears to have gone down hill 100% since Haleigh disappeared. I think he is struggling with something he knows. He has little children too, playmates of Haleigh. It has got to be really eating at him if he knows anything at all. He has got to feel like he is going to burst if he doesn't tell something. I say go for it Tommy, the truth shall set you free.
