Those posts at the Mirror Forum about Mafia assistance in this search strike me as gullible fantasy, 2 parts; comic book mentality, 4 parts; wishful thinking, 3 parts. The item that pricked my curiosity was the bag with DNA on it. That sounds possible.
LOL sure am Colomon, particularly as this site is knocking me of & I cannot get the page back for ages LOLHey B....
Getting dizzy????
also: the father of Madeleine McCann has sent 14 text messages (sms) from his cell phone, a few minutes before the alarm about his missig daughter was given
So in the "few minutes" he had Gerry managed to ring Sky and send 14 text messages.
I am a text message expert and I would be flat out sending 14 messages in a "few minutes", unless the messages said like one word and even then I'd be pushing it.
I doubt very much there is any truth to this.

".............The restrained nature of last night's service signalled a shift away from the high-profile approach previously favoured by the McCanns and their media advisers. Plans for a global "Madeleine Day", featuring the likes of Elton John, JK Rowling and the former American president Bill Clinton, appear to have been quietly shelved, along with plans for further public appearances by the couple"
Dear God!!!!!

Maddie DNA clue in airport bag
Would anyone be missing a pair of Jeans???
Did anyone change their pants???
Funny how this DNA test only took 2 weeks and the FSS has been testing for what....3 months?!?!
"The DNA isn't an exact match to Maddie's, but it does link."
What does that mean????
btw, Thoughtfox, love your sig. My teenaged daughter just adores Goren.
Maybe the sample is so contaminated they can't make an exact match. Or maybe the children's clothes belong to Amelie and they were tossed because the parents thought her blood might be on them.
Like OJ's glove, I wonder who the jeans fit. Congealed bodily fluids? If true and the jeans belong to one of the Tapas group (and especially the parents) it looks like maybe Madeleine was disposed of on one of the many trips back and forth to the airport.
Press reports in the UK had said on the weekend that investigators were preparing to search a farm in the Rif mountains of Morocco after a fresh sighting in the village of Fnidek, east of Tangiers.
But the Moroccan Interior Minister Chakib Benmoussa said on Sunday that there was "no evidence suggesting such a presence in Morocco".
"We have cooperated for a long time with Portuguese and British police through Interpol and we have not had any new development on this case up until now," Mr Benmoussa added.

Paulo Rebelo talked to the GNR cops who were the first to arrive at PDL the night Madeleine went missing. He wanted to know if the group showed signs of having drunk too much and the cops told him they looked normal. The GNR cops also said they didnt see Robert Murat in the area in that night.
Strange that noone saw Murat in the area on May 3rd only the Tapas gang!
