From my understanding, GZ didn't say exactly what RJ said was being said, if I'm understanding your statement here.
GZ: TM jumped out of the bushes and said "Got a problem, Homie?"
GZ: "No, I don't have a problem"
RJ version:
TM: "Why are you following me?"
GZ: "What are you doing here?"
Not exact IMO. Also, GZ was asked during another interview if TM actually used the word "Homey" and GZ said he couldn't remember. GZ also couldn't remember if he fell immediately after the punch, like he stated in his first interview. Again, I believe some of what GZ is saying happened, but not all of it.. Remember that no one say this from beginning to end, only portions. There were also a few witnesses that said they heard running or feet hitting the pavement, sounds coming for one end and ending in another. This is all we can go by as well as Goode seeing this unfold in a 10 second time frame. :twocents:
I think so too.IMO she should be charged with Judicial misconduct and removed from the bench permanently.
ETA the only bright spot is that she just handed GZ all the appellate ammo he needs in the unlikely event he is convicted. IMO
Defense supporters don't need to keep reinventing theories and reinterpreting the evidence, because pretty much everything corroborates GZ's story. Even, and oftentimes especially, the state's own witnesses.
I recall when this case first hit the news that state supporters insisted the forensics would show that TM was shot in the back while running away. But that's not what happened. Just as with every piece of forensics, nothing refutes GZ's story. Absolutely nothing. JMO. OMO. MOO.
IMO - I didn't feel she "demanded" his answer - what she was doing was telling the Defense he was overruled and she spoke louder and told Zimmerman she would ask him again if he didn't know now.
The judge may simply been trying to consider if the Defense was going to run to the weekend or not. The Defense was way out of line with that one. I can't believe how he keeps speaking back to and over the judge. Very disrespectful.
Judge breathes sigh of relief because objection is withdrawn. Bring it on if you want to, prosecution. Passing a really big bulldozer to help you out. :floorlaugh:Ok let's see how this one goes. GZ was never mentioned in the direct.
For sure, in fact she had already told him to take his time...and now wanted to know if he had yet come to a decision... which is proper.
Had West kept his angry, insulting voice out of the calm disscussion between Judge and Defendant, all would have been copasetic. He has no idea when to stop with his arrogance and looking down his nose at others...
His ignorance of the law is breathtaking. IMO
Since the Defense has said they're about to rest their case...Also Because GZ has a right to know his rights re testifying....and the court has a right to know if he will or won't take advantage of that right...and GZ has to informed that he does not have to testify.IMO
She has already let him know he needs to let the court know his decision ....no hurry, but talk it over with his lawyers and get back to the Court with the decision because it's late in the trial...
this is the Judge's Job and Don West made an utter fool of himslef by attacking the Judge performing her duty to the defendant...West should be concerned about his clients rights and not about his own ego and dramatics. I could plainly see that O' Mara was terribly annoyed at West's carrying on with contempt toward the court.IMO
Like no DNA on either man of the other despite all the sweat and blood?
Or the injuries on GZ face coming from his right side when TM is right handed?
Or the body being found on the grass 70 yards away from TM destination and not at the T (cut through)?
Or the autopsy report that says Serino reports the resident confronts the male and a physical fight takes place?
Because he went to her home and acted like a cop IMOI don't see why the defense objects to this info coming in - it's good for the defense, IMHO.
Either way.. they both have him speaking first. both have them addressing GZ not the other way around.
No, no one came in and said he was a good boy, but they did with GZ IMO
I believe we just saw the defense playing a hand of poker. Bluff called. We'll see how it works out.I don't see why the defense objects to this info coming in - it's good for the defense, IMHO.
IMO the Prosecution did not do themselves any favors by asking hte red headed witness if she discussed her home invasion with Zimmerman 20 times.
She was a young mother that was terrified, if she was talking to GZ about it 20 times he was likely trying to make her feel less afraid and she may have been leaning on him as a trustworthy neighbor.
With a female jury I would think the jurors will see GZ in a sympathetic light after her testimony.
IMO.
