It must be so excruciating for families of missing children to have to deal with questions about mentally ill people claiming to be their missing child. On a fact-based forum, we could be more careful about entertaining it, IMO. I understand the need for hope, but this kind of thing is the cruelest scam. LE must have confirmed by now who this young woman is and where and when and to whom she was born and that she isn't a missing child. Again IMO.

As I have seen, the surrounding forest is coniferous, and it seems to me very difficult to hide from there and kidnap a little girl, also I agree with @MENDEL, that too much time has been lost, (for what reason it might be) before the police were alerted.

Also very disturbing that the WH employees/residents <modsnip: no source link> were only informed the next day that a small girl has disappeared without a trace….

There is no clear TL,what the family did, during their stay at WH,and I do think that German police should reconsider their investigation, according to the wishes of Inga’s family and their lawyers.

Its Europe, wide open borders,so a small child can be trafficked ,it about 3 hours drive from Stendal to Poland…just saying..
Here is a Polish article,it gives a good summary of Inga’s disappearance.
Translated bits of it:

Between the trees, the children lose sight of each other all the time, they generally don't stay close to each other. Returning with brushwood, they do not notice that Inga is not with them. "Where's Inga?" an adult asks. The children answer that Inga was there just a moment ago, and one of them remembers that she must have seen Inga five minutes ago...

It is approximately 6.45 pm (in the course of the subsequent investigation, it was established that the girl must have disappeared within a quarter of an hour between 6.30 pm and 6.45 pm) (2).

The adults immediately go to the place from which the children came and loudly call Inga by name.

Here at the edge of the forest the trees are not very dense; there are also some bushes, but it is certainly not a place where, after walking a dozen or so meters, you completely disappear from the eyes of others. Adults ask children if they really were collecting brushwood here and if they didn't go somewhere else. Everyone is nervous, but at this point, in fact, everyone is convinced that Inga will certainly be found soon, that she just misplaced herself.

Also a bit of the source, that is used in the article:
According to SPIEGEL information, the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) is also checking another lead: During a prison stay in early 2019, years after Inga's disappearance, Christian B. wrote a letter to an association for which the conspicuous employee was working in the meantime. The content of the letter is not known.
Fall Maddie: Ermittler prüfen Zusammenhang zu weiterem Vermisstenfall

“The officials are pursuing clues that Christian B. could have been in contact with an employee of the addiction facility from whose premises little Inga disappeared. According to the investigation, the employee and possible accomplice behaved strangely after the crime and is said to suffer from a narcissistic personality disorder. In addition, he should also show a highly conspicuous sexual behavior.”

Also from the article Spiegel, that I linked above.

First you have Silvio s.murderer of two young boys and another employee, who also seemed to share, the same sick sexual interest as CB.
Why else, would they write to eachother?

I truly beginning to understand the parents of Inga, about their misdoubt of Wilhelmshof.

I checked the article (no big deal with translator), as well as sources (1) Inga's parent's interview to Stern in 2017 and (2) Kriminalrat Reimar Klockziem's interview to Stern in 2017. Klockziem is head of Police Department from Stendal. He's among Inga's case investigators. Both worth reading of course.

Article says that Inga was last seen by children when they were taking wood from forest and that this took place after father saw her carrying two 1.5L water bottles. I can't substantiate that from sources and that's not in accord with father's claiming that he last saw Inga carrying the bottles and returning to building. He clearly says that no one knows what happened next, so there was no wood collection after that for sure.

Article says that it was Inga's father who called police. This is news, at least to me, as it was known the call was made at 8.13pm, but not by whom.

Article also confirms they searched for Inga at least for an hour before calling Stendal police.

From (2), Klockziem says that forest played no role, even if that can't be completely ruled out. That Inga probably disappeared much earlier on the premises of DW. He also says that perpetrator must have at least some connection to DW and was clever enough. He isn't aware of any child trafficking cases in Germany and discards that such criminals would ever choose DW.

Even though there's one only way-out from DW by car, there are many ways-out by bike through the woods. Locals know which tracks might be driven by an off-road 4x4 vehicle. Sorry for blurry images, but I hope they're clear enough.

It is a bit blurry, thanks for the upload.

But I don't think Inga was captured and transported on a bike.It would be a huge risk to been seen and very hard to control the girl.

And on the website, they are asking if someone noticed, a dark suspicious car.

I also don't think they transported Inga on a bike. But perhaps some tracks can be run by an off-road 4x4 vehicle.

That dark suspicious car can be connected to kidnapping or not, so no other hypothesis can be discarded until more info is available.

I couldn't make the pictures more clear, thanks for the understanding.

I think it may help do show up destinations from top to botton:

- Volgfelde
- Seethen
- Klinke
- käthen

ETA: There's an Alte Heerstraße (old army road) that runs from DW to Käthen, so I think at least this one might be able for an off-road.

(Sniped for focus)

Interesting,is that also marked on ur maps?
Do you have more info about that road?
I would like to know, some more.

Yes, on the lowermost map, from DW to Käthen, when blue track begins until it divides in blue and gray is Alte Heerstraße. I think at least beginning of continuation gray track is also AH.

I'd like to know more about that army road, too. That area may have lots of history to tell and maybe something that might help in this case.

You can check AH here in the map:

===== TIMELINE (Not an easy task):

According to Bild (from which I only find reliable 5pm and 5.50pm as no other information can be found), Volksstimme and parent's interview to Stern in 2017 (published in Stern magazine 18-2014, 27-06-2017):

5pm - Gehricke family arrives in Diakoniewerk Wilhelshof
5.50pm - Last picture of Inga taken
6pm - Mother sees Inga for the last time and tells father to take an eye on her
6.30pm - Father sees Inga coming with 2 water bottles 1.5L from host's home. Then, boys saw her put bottles down on barbecue and return to host's house
6.45pm - Adult daughter returns from host's house without Inga. Search begins immediately and later host tells Inga's mother they've already searched inside houses
8.13pm - Stendal Police is called by father
8.22pm - Police arrives

"Ich dachte: Sie finden mein Kind bestimmt"
Mädchen seit drei Tagen im Wald vermisst: Das Minuten-Protokoll von Ingas (5) Verschwinden
Die schwierige Suche nach einer Spur

It's surprising they arrived so late. Once it's a long trip, I always thought they had arrived earlier. Especially because barbecue was unplanned and they weren't expected to stay that late. Also, there's a long time gap, more than 1h, before calling police. It seems Inga's mother wasn't at barbecue between 6-6.30pm, but somewhere else preparing food for barbecue. Inga never arrive again in host's house, otherwise father wouldn't be last person to see Inga. As a distance from barbecue to host's house was 100-150m at most, there's a time window less than 3min and we must subtract first part of track when Inga was visible to boys. So perhaps 2min only or something more at most. Parents never tell anything about wood collection during interview. If there was any, it was well before Inga's disappearing and nothing to do, contrary to information broadly circulated in MSM.

Good for them!

CRITICISM OF INVESTIGATIONS
In the case of the missing Inga Gehricke from Stendal, parents want to visit the state parliament
For the first time since their daughter's disappearance on May 2, 2015, Inga's parents will appear in public and attend the interior committee meeting in the state parliament. Both confirmed this to the Volksstimme:
https://www.volksstimme.de/sachsen-anhalt/landespolitik/vermisste-inga

I hope that meeting in State Parliament will revive the case and give it a boost poor Inga deserves.

I expect Polizeidirektion Sachsen-Anhalt Nord will be forced to explain why it circulated for so long that Inga disappeared during wood collection (if there was any) in forest when it's clear from parents' interviews that Inga disappeared when she returned from Grillplatz to host's house and also why they state in woistinga that Inga disappeared about 7.30pm when it's crystal clear Inga disappeared around 6.30-6.45pm.

The family does not arrive at 5 pm. They are already there.

Translation of the text from Bild:

Bild documents the minutes from the last photo taken to the disappearance of the girl who has been missing since Saturday!

17.00 hrs: The parents, Inga and her three siblings are visiting friends of the Diakonie at Wilhelmshof for the weekend.

ca. 17.50 hrs: The last picture of Inga is made with a smartphone.

That makes things clear as 5pm looked too late for me indeed.

Stendal (Saxony-Anhalt) – The allegations about the investigation errors in the case of the missing Inga (then 5) from Stendal are becoming more and more massive! Traces of a convicted pedophile are said not to have been followed thoroughly enough and files have been lost.

On Wednesday, the state parliament's interior committee will deal with the Inga case. The Berlin lawyer Steffen Tzschoppe, who represents the brother of the girl who disappeared almost eight years ago, raises serious allegations. Among other things, a 1,900-page file from Berlin is said to have been withheld from the inspectors.

In May 2015, shortly after Inga's disappearance, this offender used an excavator on his property," says the lawyer. During the same period, the man had dismantled his car on the property.

This is a picture taken from a Mitarbeiterwhonen and it clearly depicts how risky would be a kidnapping in open air within such a tiny time window of 2 minutes at most. On top of that, Inga might run or scream. Something is clearly missing in Inga's case.

Poor Inga didn't vanish in air as they want to make us believe.
