The Criminal Chamber will probably comply with a corresponding request from the public prosecutor's office, announced the presiding judge in the Braunschweig Regional Court. The prosecutors had requested the interrogation of the man the day before because the defendant in prison is said to have talked to him about several rapes in Portugal.

According to the court's previous planning, the man could be heard by the criminal chamber at the end of September and thus become one of the last witnesses in the proceedings, which is in the home straight.
