Maybe the bodies were planted by another person where they'd easily be found, as a warning. As if to say, "lay off or we'll expose you." It's far-fetched, but if true, the plan has worked. Burke's behind bars, etc., etc. None of that bunch has come through unscathed. Now, that's not to say they all were responsible for the murders, but might have enjoyed the festivities, drank too much, and either went home or passed out. No one would ask where the women were the next day, because they were working women, and not expected to be around once their work was done. Some very ugly business could have taken place right under a bunch of drunken noses, and they never were the wiser until it was too late. JMO and ramblings.

Anything is possible, but is it plausible? I'm curious though, who would plant the bodies? They'd have to know where they were to begin with. With all due respect it does sound a bit too far fetched. I would think someone in a highly regarded, public position wouldn't be that careless and sloppy. Right now this is all hearsay. Has anyone vested the girl who's making the allegations? How do we know if she's a credible source? Again I'm not doubting he frequented prostitutes or that there's any limits to his corruption, just playing devil's advocate here. This day in age you have to side eye everyone. What took her so long to tell this story? Why is it only coming out now?

Fed information? That occured to me when Leanne said Burke pulled the hair of an Asian woman. An Asian woman was found on the North Shore of Long Island in Jan 2013. Her remains were found in a bag in Lattingtown. Shes UID.

Maybe because he's recently in trouble. Or maybe with time after calling in her tip she may have wanted to go public in case they tried anything against her after they revealed who she was to the POI she called in the tip about. All my guessing of course.

Hawkshaw, regarding the sale of 58 Savannah Walk in 2004, could the higher price tag be partially based on a new boat dock built by HF? I have seen a google link showing the Savannah address and a boat dock sale for over $100.000, I believe it was $150.000. That link was not active anymore and would only show in a google listing. For some reason I am unable to retrieve that link. I'll keep looking, but I definitely saw it. I know the former HF house is located in second row, but it looks like there is a pier/ dock west of the Savannah house on an empty lot at the beach. Could this be related?

I think they're sleuthing HF and his connection to Oak Beach as per Leanns mention of the name Fiengold being the name of the guys house she was at.

If think this theory has been around (about Fiengold connection) for a long time on WS if you have a mind for making these connections you could look up old WS discussions @ Fiengold and catch up.

I made my earlier comment prematurely. I didn't watch the press conference and i should've before commenting. With that said, being an aggressive, coke snorting, corrupt, police cheif doesn't make you a serial killer but it sure as hell makes you look suspicious when you tie it in with all of the other oddities like keeping the FBI away and having someone use your address to run an escort service, or whatever. I have to admit I get a bit lost in these threads sometimes and miss information because they go off in these weird places and it's hard to follow (great example is the current convo going on between these comments, no idea what any of that means!). A lot of the times you have to go back pages and pages.

All in all I see what you're saying and I do think she seems like she has some credibility. I just want to know who the original tip was about! Why is Ray saying it isn't going to advance the point they're making now? That doesn't make any sense.

I want to know too! Just the few details she gave about her POI kind of match mine. It would be mind blowing if we both met this person!
Ray is probably saying that it won't advance the point they are making now because her POI that she called the tip in on was not James Burke, nor PH. He doesn't want her to name anyone other than who he is going after now. (Burke and Hackett)

Does anybody else remember noticing that Leann wasn't very confident of the name Fiengold when asked who's house she was at? IIRC she hesitated a bit pronouncing his name. Could she have been mistaken, could it be Feinberg she meant? I'm only curious because there is a Gary A. Feinberg, who worked for Suffolk county, named in several sexual assault lawsuits filed by different woman. I could be way off on this one but how do we find out if this guy GAF owned a house in Oak Beach? Just a thought. I'll try to watch the press conference again to be sure of what I remember.

The name Feinberg is not listed in the tax records. There is only one Feingold listed in Amityville, but I thought that the party house in oak beach was owned by the "Oak Island Beach Association". The Association has several members. Is this not correct? Also, what good is living in a gated community, if you can just walk up into the neighborhood by boat? I mean seriously, you can just walk in from different areas like the "wildlife" area near where Shannan was found, or drive up to the beach by boat. seriously what is the point?

I believe Leanne and am glad someone stepped up finally. I think she didn't have a choice after her name was given out from the detective. What her original tip was we will find out eventually. I'm happy that this might be the first step to solving this and getting justice for these women and their families.

I just heard from a source connected to the SCPD that Burke was friends with Robert Stricoff. Stricoff is the person that is the best friend of Steve Bellone. He is also the person that bought the house from Harry Feingold. He also told me they all knew Bissett.
