I just don't understand the obvious lack of interest, here and even in the news, about this case. IMO, In the future, when it likely turns out that RAT is a notorious serial killer, will there be more interest then? Do people feel negative re: Alexis? Why is the interest in her case so lacking?

Especially since they were starting out calling it "the trial of a lifetime" in one of the media outlets!

Thats the best scenario that Ive heard. Someone commented on Parkers FB posts yesterday that CRD had liked every photo or status that Alexis had but then he unliked them after she went missing. CRD said they didnt actually know each other besides SM.

reading further I see that CRD dated AM's cousin. I'm assuming she wasnt close to the cousin or she would have known him but being such a small town Im sure she knew they were dating. That makes it less likely that she would go for that reason. Plus now knowing he worked at that McD's Im sure they saw each other and it would be odd they never talked then some creepy guy says oh yeah let me hook you up. (just thinking outloud)

There are a couple of issues that come to mind:
To say that Alexis and RAT's cellphones did not ping in the area of the car wash seems weird to me. The car wash is directly across from the Liberty. I can't imagine that the car wash would be pinging on a totally different tower than Liberty. I'm not saying that RAT is telling the truth, but I find that this information from the Police is insignificant.

CRD is dating her cousin, lives in Shipman and works at McDonalds in Lovingston, is FB friends and has never met Alexis? This seems impossible to me. Lovingston is a very small place. I frequent the Liberty and I would say that most of the time I am in there or the McDonalds I know 95% of the people. They are not my friends necessarily but I recognize them.

Im disappointed that they rested. That means theres nothing else to reveal, right?

Anyone else getting 'Outdated Java plug in detected' page on this thread? I'm using Chrome. Usually happens when I refresh or try to click to the next page.

I have just been clicking the 'back' button and requesting the action again and it disappears, but it is frustrating. Also, if you DO get it, DO NOT click as I'm pretty sure it is unhealthy.

...and cross examination. I hope the defense puts TV, his employer, on as a witness. Then, on cross ask her about Friday night, August 2nd. This will remind the jury that RAT was with the object of his fantasy The Night Before Alexis Disappeared.

Sadly, re: the ATV and the scrapbook, it seems opportunities were missed. I will be the first to say: the investigation does not appear thorough.

More Questions:
Did Investigators get the phone records and the details (content of texts, DMs, voicemails, photos, etc) from Verizon. If not, why didn't they?

Did investigators check the tape and photographs in the scrapbook for fingerprints? If not, why not. If so, were there just too many prints and it would have muddied the waters? Was there something there that was unexplainable and the Prosecution would loose points on cross?

Why didn't they get an overall search warrant, on the initial search, to cover anything related to the disappearance of AM?

What did they find in his camo SUV?
Was it cleaned so thoroughly that it would do nothing to prove the prosecution's case?

Why hasn't the prosecution said whether any fingerprints were found anywhere? No fingerprints would underscore a massive cleanup. With the fight/struggle between AM and RAT, IMO proven by the prosecution, there should have been fingerprints. Why is this not being addressed?

"Thorough," is not a word that is coming to mind. :(

I think this not everything they have.

Sorry, forgot to include the tweet.
