Defense served a subpoena yesterday to get the Cellbright (?) data for Heather and Jerry Stevens. State is objecting on basis of irrelevance and third party guilt. Defense wants to show that she was talking to someone else and had plans to see them. Judge is shooting them down saying they didn't ask any of the witnesses during the trial.

Defense states they're trying to show the extent of the investigation and show the jury that more should have been done. Sounds like the judge is going to allow it with that explanation.

Judge Dennis says that Heather making plans for the next day and then not following through with those plans is actually a benefit to the State.
