Wow. Just watched NL closing argument and the family speak, and the sentencing. I'm so glad he was found guilty. I think his wording at the end was very careful- I don't think he knows where poor Heather is, but I do think his wife does. I wish he would just be honest and tell all he knows. What is the point now? They are both in jail, what does he have to hide anymore? What he is afraid of with her? What could she possibly have on him now?

I respectfully disagree that he doesn’t know where she’s is. I do however agree that he chose his words carefully.
He says I can’t give them any closure, there’s just nothing I can give them. Nothing is the key word. He knows everything but maybe there is “nothing” left to give them...he repeated, there’s nothing I can give them a few times.
He’s lost everything but I think he does not want his kids to see him for the monster that he is so he will never admit to anything.

Put the pressure on the family, someone is bound to cave. They all know more than they are letting on.

I'm home and playing catch up. I also didn't even realize today is the 18th or I'd have stayed south and gone to the landing. I suppose it's better for my grades. I will say I went to the one in December, and will again this December, and I vividly remember seeing the most bizarre lights in the sky on the way home. I actually contacted the news to see if the Golden Knights were in the area. It was like Chinese paper lanterns but coming down instead of up. And we're north of the landing by a lot.

Yeah I was shocked. I'd hardly even settled into the waiting room when I heard the Moorer kids in the hall saying they were heading back in.

Polly and the 2 kids were there for the verdict but then left before sentencing. His mom came in part way through sentencing and I feel bad for her because she missed the verdict and a chance to say goodbye.

Since Jade wasn't here, I gave the thumbs up when SM was being escorted out of the courtroom.

SM's mom is the only one who returned to the courtroom for sentencing. I have a screenshot of it, but it won't post.

I also gave a thumbs up in honor of Jade but I don't know if the camera saw it.

When SM made his sniveling statement to the Elvis family about how much he wished he could help them but he couldn't.... Judge Dennis said that he believed him.
Shortly after that, Judge Dennis said that he believes the Mrs. was the driving force here (or something along those lines).

What are your thoughts on that? Does SM know where she is, or was that all TM?

I think TM and her dad coordinated disposal.

Did anyone catch that last part from the judge. About knowing his parents and more or less he knew they didn't raise him that way. Then ended it by saying more or less this is why he (judge) is doing this.

I caught it. Rest assured if there's any further cases or funny business I will remember it.

Maybe Amber was killed because of him and he doesn't want the connection known. So many unanswered questions. One being to me HOW IS TM TONIGHT IN HER PRISON HOME?? I would pay money to know that seriously. She is the lowest of low on the human spectrum along with sibling and parents - the clan. Her kids I have some hope for, they are innocent.

There are sooooo many people involved/in the know with this case, I have a hard time believing the family will NEVER get closure. Of course there are thousands of cases where the family never has closure, but how many of have THIS MANY people in the cast of characters?

I admit there's part of me that wants to see this fool of an attorney try this case. The gruesome twosome can stay in their cells. I don't need to see them. Just the attorney.

All I can think of is how much Tammy had to control everything. She needed more to hold over his head. Him not knowing where Heather is did that. She could pull that card out anytime he did anything she didn't like. I think PC has that control too and why she was at that parole hearing. He has to stay the course or murder charges will come. I fully believe wherever she was put, something to implicate sm was put there to as collateral. I think she has spilled to ac and PC knows as well.

I hope above hope they haven't draggedt kids into knowing anything more than they already do. I fear the wrath of TM is not finished. Just not sure if where it will come from next. I think they thought he would get off and then the civil suit would get her free..... Not going to happen now.

Wonder if djraplawyer is crying in his parents basement tonight.

Regarding what Donald saw on the phone: had he ever described what he saw to any law enforcement? Maybe a clue as to where Heather may be, but what happened to her? Or is it because there is no hard evidence, it can't be investigated on? I wonder how much Nancy knows about the picture he saw ...

Law Enforcement and the Solicitor's office surely know what Donald saw on that phone. However, the state was not allowed to have Donald say so in court to the jury. Probably because she was dead in the photo but Donald couldn't say she was dead. SM wasn't charged with murder (at this time), so they had to delicately tiptoe around with questions that hint at things but not outright say.

THIS has driven me crazy. I want to know exactly what Donald saw, every detail.

I considered SM not knowing what exactly happened to Heather or where she ended up but then I remember Donald's very believeable testimony and go back to the belief that he definitely knows something that would be helpful in locating her.

I completely agree with you about SM knowing things that could be helpful, even if he can’t lead authorities to her remains. Obviously I can’t be sure, but at this point I just think the picture DD was shown was sent to SM and TM as a way to confirm HE’s death. At a minimum, I think SM could definitely confirm who all was involved and what roles they played, and he could provide details on what was planned and what exactly happened that night. SM is clearly no Einstein, but now that he and the missus are destined to be guests of the state for a long time, I think he will eventually realize it’s in his best interests to be the one to come forward with that information instead of waiting for TM to do it and throw him under the bus. JMHO.

I think Nancy is probably waiting for the recovery of Heather to charge murder, since they have both been put away for a good, long time.

Sadly I don't think they'll ever find or recover Heather. I doubt she was disposed of on their property. Wherever she was taken they made sure she was well and truly gone. It's awful but there are a lot of murder victims whose bodies are never recovered, despite massive searches and efforts to locate them.

I don't know that it's the case with Heather (but wouldn't be at all surprised), but I think our World's oceans hold a lot of secrets .

I think we all of know that TM and her minions have control of something incriminating to keep ole Sid in line. I agree he's not the sharpest bulb and he's been owned by the C's since he married into the family. TM was the alpha in the room and she made sure everyone knew that, including the car dealership guy. Poor Heather never had a chance once TM found out about her. Do we know exactly how that happened?

Idk that I believe he doesn’t know where she is. That wouldn’t make any sense with him showing DD the photo. I think he and others know everything or at least the vicinity of where she is. Moo

Unless...TM took the photo to prove to him that she did it..
