Defense wants to enter previous sworn testimony (maybe from Sidney's trial).

What? None of them died, or fulfilled any of the other requirements necessary for that to be allowed.

The State has the right to cross-examine. What is the argument behind allowing it, per the defense?

Even though defense is talking about another witness I wonder if all this is maybe the defense trying to eventually use previous kids sworn depositions (i.e., lying) to bring that into evidence since they cant testify?

We can not take cell phones into our Courthouse, period.

I had to appear in court for my brother earlier this summer and as soon as you entered the lobby of the courthouse you had to had over your cell phone and go through a metal detector. Doesn't this courthouse have any rules at all concerning what you bring into a courthouse?

I know a lot of people believe in overdosing on vitamin C when you have a cold. Question: Would mixing champagne with orange juice make the orange juice less effective? Asking for a friend.

I have always found a few good shots of whiskey cures about any cold. (For at least a few hours anyway)

I was starting to feel bad for them as well, but then I remembered this is what they signed up for. They chose to be defense attorneys, and most of the time, that means they are not representing innocent people. They chose to take this case, so they have to deal with everything that goes along with that. My compassion for them has waned.

It’s just brutal to have your case filleted like that, in one fell swoop. All due to a client who advised her mother and kids to watch, OR, family members of a client who intentionally disregarded the stern instructions of the court.

If I was helping on their side of that case, I would be fire engine red. My cheeks display my emotions, and the rage/embarrassment would be quite viable.

You think a bit like I do! Doesn't matter though, it sounds like the judge isn't allowing the defense to get testimony in without the witness showing up to testify

I don't think they were talking about SM's previous trial. I think they were talking about having the witness prepped to use his testimony in the case that SM were to take the stand in this trial.

No. Not at all. It actually helps LOL because you get two "medicines". The alcohol helps relax and calm the nerves and can make you feel better and the OJ will still give your body the Vitamin C nutrients.

A Dr I once worked for told me to take a warm shot of Wild Turkey and chase it with honey to cure any respiratory illness. Doesn’t hurt to try!
