My understanding is that she cannot say unless she is repeating what the defendant said. So in this trial a witness can say what TM said, but not SM. In SM's trial it was the reverse. I hope that makes sense.

During the obstruction trial, brianna was not allowed to testify to what Heather said (heresay). She could only testify that Heather was upset - IIRC she said “heather could barely get her words out she was so upset” or words to that effect.

I am unsure if she testified to it during Sidney’s kidnapping trial, I didn’t watch the live stream.
